Yeshua came to show you your Divine potential and that the 'god' of the OT WAS NOT his father (YHWH is who you call the Devil) He showed that he had the power to lay down his life and to take it up again. He showed that there was no greater love than to die for your fellow man. That death was not to be feared. The message of the cross was not that he died as a sacrifice for your sins, but rather that the sacrifice of self for the many is the ultimate display of love for humanity.
