Gabrysia and Patrycja - our story with SMA

Gabrysia and Patrycja are energetic twins who are nine years old and suffer from spinal muscular atrophy (SMA). Their disease was diagnosed when the girls were 2.5 years old. Thanks to treatment, they are reaching developmental milestones and have become volcanos of energy. They enjoy drawing, dancing and swimming. They take part in swimming competitions in which they are very successful.
