Something that is so rarely capitalized on, when playing a game where you control a small animal; is that people will WANT to pet you. Humans are always portrayed as enemies or things that disregard you; but Stray actually has the robots respond to you like a cat. Wanting to pet you, ACTUALLY petting you and just responding with Coos and heart eyes when you do something cute!

I love how Seamus and Doc are clearly references to Back to the Future. 1.21 Gigawatts to run the blaster. Doc looks like a robot version of Doc Brown. Seamus was the name used by Marty Mcfly's ancestor when he went to the old west. He even wears the puffy orange 'life preserver' looking vest Marty wears in the movies!

There are a lot of references to various things in this. the treasure hunter bot saying "some may call this junk, me, i call them treasures" is a direct quote of the generic merchant dialogue from skyrim.

@Cs, No, not really. Everyone will have the exact same journey and exact same conclusion. The only replayability is getting all the trophies, which I will probably do. But I would say it could be a fun game to speedrun. Also at the very last second before the screen cuts to black and the credits roll something happens. You gotta keep an eye out for it.

I feel like, for a game featuring robots, it's so original, when there are a lot of stories that do certain things so badly just including robot takeover as a theme to where I'm very easily bored or it's recycled material (no pun intended.) The game is also beautiful, even though most of it is just metal, trash buildup, and small signs of plant life still existing in this unknown year. I love the whole language creation for this game and the Asian inspiration for the buildings and clothing.

You missed a memory by the robot watching the nature documentary in Antvillage. Also, There are 2 more badges to collect. The police badge: You have to go to the security checkpoint and enter the alley near it. You will see a barred window with a red pipe and the badge will be inside of it. The Neco badge: Inside the factory, there is a worker robot that you can talk to. You have to find his keys nearby and he’ll give you the badge.

I absolutely love these robots! They have such charming body language, and making there heads these kinda dot-matrix screens was an excellent touch!
