That little man on the right was named Anthony. he would also hang on the piers, wearing a dress shirt, tie and jeans, hustling. Seeing him, my friends (even seasoned queens like Venus) and I would become alarmed and try to do something for him. but, he was defiant and ignored us.

i created venus xtravanganza, he became me and turned into she. i taught her how to dance. we were best friends b/4 he b/came she. i have photos of him b/4 she b/came who she was. her death was a shock to me, but i have his photos and she will always be remembered and love by me forever.............. i love you 4ever tommy.............. p.s. for those who commented that she was spanish, well she was, by the other parent............... PUERTO RICAN............
