Electric car is not feasible in Nepal yet. Too much promise and poor after sale service, expensive in long term, not enough charging station, useless outside valley. overall, its a good kitchen car for a housewife.

Actually electric car is feasible in Nepal thank other countries. 1. Electricity is made in Nepal so can use domestic energy. 2. Already, lots of charging staton in the past 3 years. The growth rate of charging station is more than 1000%. 3. Since, Nepal is small, a 300 KM WLTP range car can go from one destination to another easily. Most intercity travels are less than 300KMS. 4. How is it expensive in long term? Electricity prices in Nepal is really cheap. Even if you replace you battery in 2Lakh km or 15 years, you will still be in a huge surplus. My conclusion is EV might not be feasible in other countries but is the best mode of transportation in Nepal.

@@Aayush2614 Happy to answer you buddy: 1. Electricity is made in Nepal but transmission lines are not ported in highways 2. There are currently 51 active charging stations in Nepal. Dont fool people with percentage. Yes it's 1000% but its 1000% of 5. 3. 300Kms is promised value. Anyone who drives knows the promised mileage is not real road value. So stop being delulu. In the road like ours, its 200km max. and you cant even reach to pokhara from kathmandu on single full charge, ask anyone who owns the ev. 4. 15 years????? The company who manufacture most of your ev claim 5 - 8 years battery life span. And the technology is changing heavily. By that time you will hardly get the battery because its outdated or you have to pay a hefty sum because our govt. want tax to fill their pocket. so, good luck on that. My 2 cents: if you are buying ev, go for it. But don't speculate that its feasible or environment friendly. It's a disposable car with a time limit of 5 8 years. It's just a fad. Don't try to oversell. consumer need to know.
