Now Grian Aus officially become a thing with this video! (you know, how people made this sort of videos in every fandom?) I had my suspicions that the one attacking Grian there is the “loyal watcher” version of himself, since he's the last one showing up after the attack, and the power look so much like Watcher attack. (the “Earthquake attack”). Not gonna be surprised, since the machine is connected to the multiverse and possibly using the energy from the rift (that may not be as stable as we thought). It seems that one mental state of mind is really crucial to the machine, considering the canon lore itself, that Gem have to think about Hermitcraft and possibly in a good state of mind for it to work. Grian fastening his footstep and then running is a symbol of him panicking, and when that happened, not hard to conclude that unwanted intruder came around... (Watcher can see other timeline/universe) So yeah, my theory of the day! Also, dead YHS Grian remind me so much of my favourite fanfic in Ao3, where Grian got killed by Sam and his ghost haunted the school. (it'd be a found family kind of fic, I love it so much

It's a machine that allows you to *walk* through different universes not *run* through them...the machine would break and he'd get trapped in a universe that isn't his. :)

With the last AU yes, I've thought about making a video about what if Grian was loyal to the watchers and never helped X so that him and X would be loyal followers of the Watchers but never really got around to doing so.
