They've been radio silent for a long time since their initial announcement trailer. I'm hella excited for Project Mugen...but Neverness to Everness is taking their limelight. Project Mugen needs to do some kind of promotional advertising to show that they're still alive and that the game is actually in progress lol. It's kind of like Blue Protocol...they took forever to do anything for global release...and at this point, I've forgotten and given up on the game lol. Most people say that Blue Protocol is a dead game, or that they've taken forever to release any kind of update for US/Global, that all the hype is gone. Same thing might happen with Project Mugen.

It forever changed the gacha industry standard. You may not heard about it before Genshin came along but Honkai Impact 3rd is the most played gacha in Asia. Like the other comment said, this is what most players want. You may not like gacha games in general buy hey, at least these games don't have western woke ideologies in it unlike some triple A games out there.

Mind you, this game surely is very good looking and the driving feature is awesome. But this is tested in high or highest graphics. So ppl with low end phones or mid end PCs might feel a bit off with the low/med graphics. Hope it gets better optimizations than some recent gacha games

Pretty sure it will look a lot different in the actual release. Smaller population. Not many accessible buildings. Because it's a mobile game. They will probably have to tone down a lot of things. Don't expect anything and you will not disappoint.

It seems really cool. I wonder how it'll shape up by the time it's playable, or WHEN it'll come out. I'm guessing it's like a year or more away, which stinks... but I'm excited! I love the surreal-meets-mundane-meets-semi future aesthetic it has. I'm definitely keeping my eyes open for this and already pre-registered, but again, something tells me this one is a pretty long way out so it seems almost silly to have any level of excitement for a thing with no release date.

A big "If" Hotta get's the job done and get's NTE fully optimized for mobile while on UE5 and if the game does deliver a good satisfying story and combat system that's close or similar to WuWa's combat while having all of the things shown in the video? As someone who spent a non negligible amount of money in ToF for a year at least, monthy sub and Battle Passes, and tanium packs, my first thought is why can't ToF be the good game. I am disappointed with the effort I spent. Too much powercreep, too much need of SSR copies just for units to work. The MMORPG setup basically means you can't do stuff when no other people are online at the same time, which is almost all the time considering how few the players are. And the story starting from Mirroria was so meh (the Grey Space Entities are the most boring enemy faction I have seen). Now I see NTE and could tell that features which were introduced in ToF are more polished (like car driving, wall running). The animations and models look better as well. The character switch seems faster. And the best thing is you're not limited to one appearance (Simulacrum) per play. I don't even know if ToF ever makes back the production cost, but if they're making a new game maybe they did? Anyway, I might try. But have to see if there will be more male characters because I don't think there's even 10 males in ToF.

Gacha action rpgs really need to figure out how to do combat a little differently because they are all identical. Why not have your party all present at once like in Final Fantasy? Why not add more mechanics to combat like special meters (Like Rage mode in God of War), magic or spells, consumables (things like explosives or ammunition for gun wielding characters), multiple combo routes like in Monster Hunter, anything to spice the combat up. Just attack, skill and ultimate is getting very stale.
