There were dissenting voices and chaos in today's meeting by the parliamentary committee in Isiolo on the Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua Impeachment proposal by parliament.
Residents with divided opinions took the stage, some supporting the removal of Gachagua, others adamant that both the president and his Deputy should vacate the office while others said that the issue was a diversion tactic to revert Kenyan citizens from the more important issues affecting the country.
The meeting had to be moderated frequently as participants forcefully took to the floor to express their point, some chanting “Gachagua must go,” whilst others chanting “Ruto must go.”
