Great first reaction and this band is very underrated but the more you dig the more you find just how great this band is. Gacharic Spin is a group that is best described as loosely contained chaos on stage and all the musicians are some of the best in Japan. Gacharic Spin is one of my favorite bands. The band was formed in 2009 by bassist F Chopper Koga after leaving her first band, Pink Panda. Koga was looking for musicians for a new band and asked her friend from HS the drummer Hana first. At this time, Hana was playing bass in another band and switched to drums (she is a multi-instrumentalist). Together they found guitarist Eita and singer Armmy. After a few concerts on their first tour, Eita left the band and they needed to find another guitarist so the recruited Tomo-Zo, who was the guitarist from the band Eu Phoria, that also included the keyboardist Oreo, had just split up so Tomo-Zo could start at Gacharic Spin. Oreo supported the band with keyboard at concerts in 2010 and 2011 until becoming a full member. Singer Armmy left the band due to health issues (she later passed away). They have also had a number of support members, mainly for dancing around, sometimes playing instrument. In 2019 they switched up the lineup and Hana switched from drums to rhythm guitar, added drummer Yuri and new dance/vocalist Angelina 1/3 (pink) hair and she was 17 at the time, she's now 19).

So everyone in the band except for the pink haired lead singer are the musicians you saw and heard in Doll$boxx. The only difference is the lead singers. Gacharic Spin have a much more diverse back catalog than what they do in Doll$boxx. They play around with rock, Pop, funk, jazz, metal, hip hop, electronica. Would definitely recommend their other newest single Gold Dash

I love how their solo-sections have turned into absolute combination work explosion controlled madness! In this one it's a full on band "solo" combined of bass, drums, guitar and keyboard and it's a similar situation in their new release "I wish I" which, btw, is much heavier even if you don't think so in the beginning.

I love the band and I especially love (ok in love with) the bassist F Chopper Koga! By far my most favorite bass player. I love their up beat sound that you are right on about, it makes you want to get up and dance! Thank you for reacting to this video.

I think it is mandatory to recommend the live version of their song Redline. I'm pretty sure the energy in that performance made the earth spin a bit faster for a couple of minutes.

I love this song! Has me really hyped for the upcoming album. If you are looking for more, I would recommend the 2019 live versions of Tamashii (unusual), Redline (intense) or Hunting Summer (fun).

I'd add Next Stage to that as well.

@@andrewcarter1747 Yeah, that was the song that got me into the band (the 2019 live version), but I don't think it's available on YT anymore.

Doll$Boxx is the side project (four members of Gacharic Spin + Unlucky Morpheus singer: Fuki) Although this version of Gacharic has a new "microphone performer", Angelina (The girl with pink hair) They also have a new drummer (Yuri) but she is absent in this video due to maternity leave ... so former drummer (Hana), currently guitarist / singer ... is back on drumming duties... confused? To better understand the evolution and many changes in the band (some deep, others superficial) I recommend that you check out the three live versions of the song "Hunting Summer" ... at least you will have fun.

Gachari ("gah-cha-ric") Spin is the main band started in 2009. Doll$Boxx is their side project with Fuki from Unlucky Morpheus. You should also check out their latest MV "I wish I" Also the bassist, F Chopper Koga, is one of the best bass players in Japan.

They released a live version of Mindset. The live version unleashes the energy of the song even better than the studio version.

Great reaction Jim If you want to check out Gacha’s earlier stuff, you can start with “NEXT STAGE” (2013) or the live version “Yume kui Zame” (2015). If you want to stay with the current lineup, they’re going to release a new music video on August 25th for the song “I wish I” from their upcoming album. There’s also a live version of “MindSet” on their official channel. You can also do a reaction for another DOLL$BOXX song. “Shout Down” is their heaviest, “Loud Twin Stars” (live) is my favorite of theirs with the beautiful “Dragonet” (if you chose the live version, there’s a drum solo after the song). Thank you

Yes these are unbelievably talented and they just put up Mind Set Live on stage and its better than the MV .There sound changes through the years but every one agrees what there doing now is probably the best .They have a new drummer Yuri that's on maternity leave at the moment this releases Hana blue hair from behind the kit to join in on the fun out front with Koga Angie and Tomo-Zo .Stand out resent tracks are Tamashi live (two drum kits ) ,Gold dash ,Frustration ,Red line , And the keenly awaited self produced new album is out September .2021. Probably the most fun live band on the planet very rarely seen out side of Japan but more reactors like you doing them will hopefully bring about a world tour .

The Name is pronounced Gotch-rick, and your video sound output is to low or your voice to high. And these things AGGRAVATE me to no end!
