@@davidarcus5131 (Edit: I'm sorry if you just didn't want any discussion, you can just ignore it if you want) I don't think you generally need to worry about people coming after you for mentioning your favourite bands. Especially as far as Gacharic Spin fans go, I can't remember ever seeing any heated discussions in reactions to them. But to be fair, I also usually try to not name any other bands under the commentsections of some of the bands (the one you talk about is one of them, the J-pop/Idol mixed with metal is an other one and the Mexican female band as well). But that has also to do with the band that I would mention as one of my favourites and for some reason it sometimes creates a thing. I think it would be ok mentioning Gacharic Spin. People might not like them but I think a lot of fans of Gacharic Spin like a lot of genres by definition and are fans of other bands as well because of that. I have had some great discussions with fans of a lot of the major Japanese bands that people react to (including the ones I mentioned before) and have actually been pretty outspoken (while staying civilized) on some things I like and don't like about their tracks and I have never caught too much flack for it. Yes, I have seen and had some heated discussions, but I think it's fine in general as long as you stay civilized. I personally think fans of Japanese bands should try to support each other even if those other bands are not necessarily for them. More exposure in the West for any of these bands is a good thing for all the others imo. And I genuinely believe that most fans are open-minded enough to understand that taste can differ from person to person. I also think there is plenty of overlap between the fandoms. I have grown to enjoy a good chunk of the tracks of the band you mentioned for example (even though I am not a huge power metal fan) and own all their albums nowadays. I wouldn't call myself a superfan but I do really like some of their tracks (Judgement Day is certainly one of them). Anyway, I have been rambling way too long again. Great choice of bands to be a fan of.
