Came back to this original version after watching their twin drum live with Hana x Oreo singing in harmony. They have grown so much, love it. They lost two dancers, but came additional vocal Angie and drum Yuri, and they've raised their technicality and diversity of their 2019 versions of each song.

The main vocal is the drummer and even the drum is in the front... Rarely seen and unique, but very cool!

Javier Bermúdez Oh really? So she can play multi instruments? Cool. But, as drum is my favourite instrument, I love it more when she plays drum :)

+Erepyon I agree - takes extreme levels of fitness and breath control as drumming is much more physically demanding than guitar or keyboard. Exceedingly cool!

+Erepyon hana has been singing and dancing(come on hana tap for us, maybe softshoe) since grade schoolbut in a recent interview hana said she learned to play guitar, bass, and keyboards in highschoolbecause all her friends were playing instruments... and the reasonshe was playing drums was that koga asked her to for gacharic spin. can you say quick study?

First i was like Hana is the most awesome drummer/singer and all that (and she is) but then I started listening Koga's bass playing and fell completely in love. She is easily one of the best bass players in any pop/rock group to this date. So good. Plus F Chopper KOGA is awesome stage name! (And she is so cute. Sorry.)

Valtteri Manala watch some of the stuff she has out there from instructional videos of her just SHREDDING. It crazy amazing slap bass.

+Valtteri Manala Ogawa Tomomi is the best female bassist (regular) and Koga Michiko slaps like noone else... two different styles but also two of the best in the world... though I don't like Koga beeing in an electro-poprock band... but that's just me bitching about music genres... it doesn't make her less awesome ^^

Nifuruc I first heard Koga in DOLL$BOXX, before I heard Gacharic Spin. As a bass player myself (52 years old, been playing bass for about 33 years), I was naturally drawn to checking out her playing. And ... whoa, she completely blows me out of the water. I don't slap at all - I play fingerstyle. But what impressed me about her was watching her switch seamlessly from slapping to fingerstyle and back again. Her technical chops are top-notch, and her understanding of how the bass fits into a song is admirable. She plays "fancy" and complicated without ever crossing the line into "too much" or "showing off". I said once before that Koga is the best rock bass player I've come across since Geddy Lee of Rush made me want to be a bass player way back when I was 14 years old.

@@rikosborne1212 You should also check out Band-Maid. Their bassplayer Misa is also awesome. Switching slap and pick with ease. Also their drummer. A beast :)

That's a pretty rare drumkit. North Drums were developed by drummer Roger North in the late '60s. The idea was that by curving the drums outward the audience would hear them more clearly. Users included jazz drummer Billy Cobham and Yes drummer Alan White. They went out of production in the early '80s.

Bit annoyed that they're coming to a con in the US and it's across the damn country... Please come back as either Gacharic Spin or Doll$Boxx to Sakura-con in Seattle next year! It's a much bigger convention and we would show you so much damn love here!
