For those who don't know NMI: NMI is Japanese spirit who feeds on children's happiness, mainly those who play Sonic. When a child gets in contact with NMI, they will start getting addicted to the Sonic game/cartridge. They will start having headaches, going on to losing the ability to walk. When the parent notices something isn't right and tries to get help, they will have somewhat the same effects like the child (I don't think they loose the ability to walk, like the child). This will somewhat go on for a while, till somewhat the child dies (Fact: NMI Doesn't try to go on and kill the child, just feeds on its happiness, as said. Anything that happens otherwise is "not his doing"). In the first video, tails is trying to tell the player that this is a fake sonic, and that its not the real one. In Departure, Hikaru (I think its his name, right?) Neglected his child. His kid, upon playing the game, got in contact with NMI, doing so, something within the child made him feel safe and loved. While playing, the child starved to death. Hikaru starts asking NMI " What did you do..?" and NMI responds with "You did this.". Innocence has trapped Hikaru into the cartridge (What happens after NMI says " You did this"), and goes on to find his next victim. NMI has a skinsuit, as shown in Departure. Though when it comes to the skinsuit, he is unpatient, leading to the skinsuit some of the time, to only look like a mask. If the child knows its not a real person, NMI won't have any affect on the child.
