I am not sure but I don't think it's possible. The scenario keeps changing every year... In recent years there have been incidents where local people have been objecting to tourists coming in vehicles rented from other districts. So if you want to explore Ladakh better to rent a bike from Leh itself

While driving from Leh towards Manali... Lato which is 70 kms from Leh is the last village where you will get a proper accommodation...rest in Pang and Sarchu you will only get make shift tents or a bed in local dhabas. I would suggest you to drive to Lato... Stay there and start early in the morning and drive straight to Jispa.

Planning to do Leh circuit this September end via NPD Linkshed route that you taken last year leh trip and back from Leh-Manali highway. Travell in Creta petrol Please advice specially for linkshed incline and Umling La Thanks

When you drive from Padum to Leh via Lingshed... You will have to face a steep incline. Just make sure that you carry enough momentum of your vehicle while negotiating the hairpin bends that come before Lingshed top. If your vehicle stops the first time don't panic just try again. Alternately you can also go from Leh to Padum via Lingshed which willbe much easier and you won't have to negotiate the incline. Umlingla pass is comparatively quite easy. I think only Dhankar monastery has such a steep incline but the Lingshed route is double then that steep and straight. You did both please advice. Thanks🙏🏻

By July 7 tourist rush due to summer vacation would be over. So u can opt not to prebook. Pangong to Hanle is app 180km and can be covered easily in 6 hours Hanle to Manali in a day will be very tough. Better to divide the journey in 2 days. You can halt at Lato.

Hi partner I have recently start watching your videos,,, great going with your mother,,, I have visited earlier on two occasions at leh ,,, this time I am planning to go by road from Panchkula to patnitop to Srinagar to Guraz to Srinagar to kargil to leh to Nubra to leh ,,,now from leh to Manali I want to take a stop somewhere near sarchu,, kindly advise.the place,, from there next day i would like to go straight to Panchkula,, Thank you Group Captain Mahesh Wasdev

Hello sir... On Leh Manali road between Lato and Darcha you can stop only in Pang or Sarchu. But you won't find proper hotels or Homestays. They are just make shift accommodations built by locals. While coming from Leh side... Lato & Rumtse are the last villages where you can get proper hotels/Homestays
