In that only Biddanda Bopu and Biddanda Somaiah are Kodavas. The Raja belonged to Keladhi dynasty who came from Ikkeri to Kodag. Doddaveera raja is a Lingayath .

Tippu attacked kodavas as they supported british and he considered it as a treason against Mysore kingdom. His action is justified.

We were forced to support the British because ur coward Tippu attacked and massacred innocent kodava men, women and Children in the pretext of peace meet at 'Devatti Parumb' near Bagamandala. It was not war it was a act of cowardly genocide. Don't try to portray him as a hero just because he belongs to your community. Your Tippu took support of the French against all other people and that's how he got rockets and ammunition. Kindly read real history and visit places of history then comment.

It was attended by women, children and unarmed men. But he killed and imprisoned unarmed people. It was not war that he fought, it was genocide. No true warrior would do that. It is not acceptable at any point of time.
