sometimes the watts they write is the equivalent of a traditional lamp. leds are 10 times more efficent, so a 5 w led is equivalent to a 50 w traditional lamp
@YeeLeeHaw3 жыл бұрын
That just misleading fraudster talk. Watt tells what rate of energy transfer the light has, if they want to tell how much light that actually comes out they would write it in Lumen.

Hello, I have the same lantern, the light that comes on in the charger, when the battery is complete, does it change color? otherwise, how many hours should it be charged?
@banana-dw7vb5 жыл бұрын
Does it come with a USB charger
@sonnic19955 жыл бұрын
He literally said that was a lie as well, and it's on the description "One of the reasons why I chose this light was because it showed in the advert that it could be charged by USB... Unfortunately the light arrived with a basic AC wall charger with barrel jack."

that's the problem with many of the Chinese brand headlamps, flashlights, and work lights. They claim 2,000 lumen or 5,000 lumen just to trick people to believe and buy the product(s). Just do simple math: (PIE) POWER = I X E (I is amp x E is voltage). If your battery is 4.2v x 3.0 amp = 12Watts of power. So if this lamp claims 30W => 30W/4.2V = 7.14amps or 7,014 mah battery. Many of the Chinese 18650 claim "4200mah or 5,000mah). The highest 18650 is about 3500 or maybe 3600mah by Orbtronic and it will cost you $13 each battery. Orbtronic (Panasonic) hasn't been able to go beyond that and so how can the Chinese make higher mah for its own batteries.

Same is with mine, butt different model 30W with 20 LED .The funny think is the heat-sink isn't even attached to LED-s.

+Gadget Addict I was hoping for 10 watts.
@jsaudio74289 жыл бұрын
you can buy that on cdrking but it have some solar panel came with
@GadgetAddict9 жыл бұрын
+Juan Paolo DIY! Yeah I've seen them in the store. They have four 18650 batteries and a 5 watt solar panel (or bigger depending on the package you select). They rate the LED at 10 Watts but they're using a large cob LED instead of multiple smaller SMD LEDs. I think price starts at 1880 PHP.
@mercxmorris8 жыл бұрын
Maybe they're doing the thing where 5w led is EQUIVALENT to 50w incandescent? I know, still misleading, but I see a lot of led bulbs advertised that way now. In Costco in the States, the specs are all there in the fine print, but the big advertising on the bulbs shows "100 WATT replacement" - instead of showing it as 20 watts or whatever the led wattage is.
@GadgetAddict8 жыл бұрын
It's possible, but when it specifically says '50W POWER', I think that's going a bit too far. I really wish they'd stop doing the 'replacement value' or 'equivalent to'. Most of the world stopped using incandescent bulbs 5 or 10 years ago. There's no need to compare CFL and LED bulbs to them anymore!
@mercxmorris8 жыл бұрын
+Gadget Addict I agree. I've spent the past couple of years learning "lumens" instead of "watts" - LOL.

I don't care for wattage I only care for luuuummeeeennnsssssssss :D
@GadgetAddict8 жыл бұрын
That's a valid point. But wattage will usually give you a rough expectation of lumens.

Lazada is very hit or miss kinda like CDR King since all their products come from different manufacturers.
@GadgetAddict9 жыл бұрын
+Roronoa Zoro Yeah, I guess it's almost like eBay or OLX since they allow third parties to sell on the site without any review of item quality. Also delivery time fluctuates hugely. If it's fulfilled by Lazada I normally get it within 1-2 days. If the order is fulfilled by a third party, it often takes a week or longer. And if the order is coming from abroad, it usually gets cancelled by Lazada after a couple of weeks of waiting. The saving grace is that Lazada have a good return policy. I've only once had a bad experience where they didn't want to accept a return of a high value item. I was returning it because it wasn't the same item showed in the advert and it had signs of previous use. The funny thing is, it had the '100% buyer protection with satisfaction guaranteed' and it was their support staff who told me to return the item after I sent photos of it. Eventually after some back and forth, I was able to get my refund.
@Olacarn9 жыл бұрын
Gadget Addict Yeah they pretty much are good for returns since they KNOW that their product's range.
