Already got a flagship phone as well as mid-range. However I too got this phone and yes even I recommend this budget phone. Performance wise is NOT like typical budget phones that I've used to have. Smooth and fast enough for everyday use. Camera is good enough, heck rather impressive for this price. If I have kids, I'll buy phones like this for sure. If one finds it NOT good enough, then I'll tell one to "Get yourself a flagship eg. iPhones, Samsung Galaxy S2* or even mid-range eg. Samsung Galaxy A5* !" Even I'm very happy with this phone and you can't go wrong with this phone esp. if you're on a tight budget.

I disagree with your comments on the build quality. the rear panel doesn’t feel cheap at all. Quite upmarket actually

Not quite as good as my mid-range phone BUT a lot better than typical budget phones.
