DONT BUY THIS PHONE I've already bought it and I regret my purchase. Why? Because it's full of cons only. 1. You can't use it to talk to anyone. The ear piece and the loud speaker are not two speakers, instead the loud speaker acts as the ear piece. As a result the sound from the ear piece is clearly audible to everyone around. If it's ok for you, go ahead. 2. Battery charge time is insanely long. Full charge will take more than 3 hours. 3. Battery backup is good only as long as it's on standby, the moment you start using hotspot, it drains like any cheap Chinese handset. 4. Hotspot internet speed is pathetic. At my place Jio 4g runs around 40 mbps, on this handset's hotspot, it drops to 4-5 only. And, before you jump to the conclusion that my handset is faulty, I'd love to tell you that I got mine replaced after noticing all these, and to my surprise, even the new handset carried the legacy with all the same set of (mis)features. If it's alright for you, buy one. P.S. It turns off on it's own, you will only know when someone calls you on your alternate number to inform you 'bhai, tera fon off ho gya hai, on kar le!' since by now everyone in family has learnt this salient feature of this phone that disconnects me from the misery of this world and gives me peace of mind. If you too need that level of peace, go ahead and grab one.

Bro m using this phone .. u are absolutely spot on 😂😂.. worst is the keyboard sms typing it will take us to Stone Age period..SIM card slot are so pathetic it’s difficult to insert nano sim..camera vga Stone Age era type ..pls no recommendations for this phone

100% agree, and Nice analysis. This phone gets OFF frequently even if it has 40% battery remained. Also after 30min of 1mbps slow hotspot, this phone becomes very hot. Don't insert Airtel or Vi Postpaid Sim in this phone. Otherwise, opening just GAME menu both operators will give you 200-250 Rs extra bill. Only entertainment thing (Game) is not free and that is very ridiculous & shameful. No Jio TV, No You tube, No UPi payment, No jio Cinema. You can't even watch OFF line video given by coaching institute (even low quality video of 640×360) bcoz this mobile support Ultra Low quality video and that is .3gp format.

Bhai Maine 2 years before liya tha ye phone. Kuch mahine thik chala lekin baad me hotspot on karne ke baad hang hoke restart hone laga. Hotspot ek bar me connect nahi hota tha. Uske liye manually restart karna padta tha. Aakhir me calls pe bhi hang hoke restart hone laga. Pareshaan hoke use karna chhod diya.

I bought " jio Bharat B2 " from jio mart for Rs 1,400 on 1st September 2024. Rs 123 recharge for 28 days. Rs 234 recharge for 56 days. Rs 1234 recharge for 336 days.

Under 4K there's options like Nokia 5310 (maybe something cheaper 130 or 105 which are under 2k) etc. Of course, if you HAVE Jio Sim, then Prima (old one, now one is expensive for no reason) is good. Even then, Nokia 130 & 105 are cheaper but may not work for payments, so check that.

Jio is most popular, but you can only use Jio sim. If you have other SIM, try Lava & Nokia. They may also be cheaper. You can make payments from any devices, so find ones with 4G support. I'm leaning towards Nokia 5310 for wifi & music, but you can get 4G in Nokia 105 under 2k.

The network capturing strength is really good in this device, I use a Vi SIM on this and the Vi network is really weak in my area, while my smartphone often shifts from Vi 4G to Vi 2G, but on this feature phone it maintains a much better 4G connection PS. Only buy this device if you need a mobile hotspot for remote CCTV or Smarthome, or want to use the daily data from your Grandpa’s SIM, otherwise, the browser in this device is useless, incapable of rendering any web page.
