I just purchased one of these for $229 at Best Buy.. all I can say is WOW. I attached an AOC F22 monitor. Outputs amazing to a 22 inch monitor and works great with external mouse and keyboad. The only problem I'm having is that after about 20 minutes the 22 inch monitor starts flickering like crazy. If I hibernate the netbook and come back flickering is gone.

In those days it must've been good but when you're stuck with it in 2021, 10 years later.... It really takes 15 to 20 minutes to boot.

Really i cant acces anything my wifi is connected but i have windows 10 its supposed to be my emergency laptop but guess not

i literally only use it to transfer information from Micro SD card to Micro SD card tpo better manage my cell phone

Oh and it's not exactly good having them at school though because people run around slamming the lid shut or turning em off or pulling out the battery

It seems the only way I use an external monitor with the nb505 without flickering is in projector, duplicate mode.. and that looks terrible. I installed drivers for the Dell 2001FP and tried different settings.. but it still flickers. Is there maybe some video card setting i need?

On the Dells it looks great but flickers. It looks great on an AOC 19 without flickering but that is not my monitor so can;t keep it.. I am able to make it work on the Dells by selecting Projector > duplicate.. but resolution looks terrible and giant fonts. Any work around?

I have a Toshiba nb505.. I've tried attaching 3 different Dell monitors like the 2001FP to it.. it detects all 3. But flickers like crazy. I've tried adjusting all the screen and resolution settings with no luck. Anybody find a way around this?

Hi guys! Could anyone of you tell me if a netbook is good for basic office work like typing word documents and using excel? I need one but I don't want to use those big ass laptops that are so heavy, I wanted to be able to bring the netbook with me anywhere I go pretty easy. I'm a tiny person and I don't want to carry a big packpack for the laptop. Any informative response is very welcome. No swearing though please. Thanks!

We have this computer and the nb300 at school and it SUCKS, The nb300 cant run youtube at 1080p without lagging hard =_= wow they suck :P
