I just picked up the iPhone 16 pro max and the screen to me is not the best and color calibration is a bit weird as well. I compared my new iPhone to my a fold 6 and to me the screen on the a fold 6 is way better to me. The whites do not seem to be as white as they should be it’s off. Just a bit weird and I checked my brother’s iPhone as well and it looks the same.

@@johnm7882nah, 13 pro max and s24p user here, it is a huge upgrade especially for Video, in fact I personally think the Video and Standard photos are the best looking photos on any phone, besides dark photos Iphone is just superior in color and Video audio is also so good that it makes the top of the line 2000 dollar phone an absolute bargain compared to Black Magic products.

Camera button was just a shortcut and sliding to zoom was slower than swiping to zoom on screen. Also cause i have Dynamic Island on 14 pro max and from screen wasn’t “wow” new.

The iPhone 16 Pros do support faster 45 Watt wired charging. I have tried and tested it out. It charges initially with a speed of 36 - 38 Watt with a compatible 45 W adapter or higher. So, they did increase the speeds but didn’t talk about it

The biggest minus of the iPhone 16 Pro Max is on the zoom side. The telephoto camera is only 12 MP, while the competition has 48 or 50 MP. When cropping, more mega pixels are needed for the digital zoom to be better.

I agree the iphone 16 isn't impressive when compared to the 14 or 15, but maybe we need to change our mindset and stop expecting them to change the design or do something revolutionary just so you can feel justified to buy a new phone you don't need every year. For those with an older android, or with iphone 12 and older, this is a good upgrade for you. Personally i would wait for the 17 but if your phone isn't working and you need an upgrade, this is a good choice. Just buy the one you want that is within your budget and take good care of it, and you can have it for 4-5 years easy.

I’ve had my 13Pro Max Blue since day one. And the only time I ever saw the color of it was when I took it out of the box when I bought it or whenever i took it out of the phone case (ZIZO brand) I put it in to clean it up inside there. When you went to pick up your phone did you at least take a look at the demo model on display to see the color in person? Or like me you just ordered it online without seeing it in person first? I still have my Desert colored iPhone 16PM in the box unopened, been sitting in there since last Saturday when it was delivered (I don’t care about black, white, silver). The phone case hasn’t come in yet. Today it is. I’ll never see the color much except today for the first time when I open the box. I’ll put the screen saver on, pop it the phone case (Zizo brand phone case in my favorite color blue). And bye bye Desert Titanium color. I’ll see it when I clean inside the case once in a while. AI isn’t coming out until later this Fall like Apple said in the event, on their website, and in the store. Stop complaining. If you desperately need AI get a Galaxy S24 Ultra too or instead. The Camera button: if you don’t like it then don’t use it. I never used the mute/silent switch on my 13. I don’t upgrade every year so this is a nice upgrade from my 13PM. I’ll just have to use my S24 Ultra for the AI stuff until Apple Intelligence comes out later this Fall. I hope it’s good. If not, Oh well. I know I’ll still love my new iPhone.
