Perfect sattire. This opens many interpretations. One- the parents invest their huge earning onto their children's education. But at the end though children become educated but they lack basic morals and ethics and leave their parents. Second- today people who doesn't possess even basic knowledge are holding big posts by unfair means. This reminds me of Hindi saying....ghode ko khane ko nahin hai ghas....gadhe kha rhe chawanprash😐

For those who didn't get the film.... It's the perfect interpretation of the political system in India...the marwadi people shown are the voters... the maath saab is the election ...the donkey is the politician we vote(the money that Vikrant massey gave) and after giving him the vote he becomes a big person , gains the power and totally forgets us and what his status was before the election (he kicks both of them) he doens't acknowledges that it's because of our votes that he is now in power otherwise he was nothing but a donkey before...LOVED IT!!

I remember during 'Dharam veer' serial Vikrant Massey once became upset due to popularity of rajat tokas & huge focus on his character. Now Vikrant is on big screen and doing really well. I'm very happy to see him progress. At least he is much more humble as compared to that arrogant rajat tokas.

Everyone's praising the actors who played the role really well, no doubt. But no one seems to be praising the director Jai Sharma, I like the symmetry he used in each scene and especially the flashback donkey selling scene with quick cuts. The facial expressions of each actor & conveying a strong message while being funny at the same time. Giving me Wes Anderson's & Guy Ritchie's movie vibes. This is the best short film I've seen by Royal Stag!

#Gadhedo is simple yet engaging story with all characters in place. Director Jai Sharma, beautifully managed to give a message through his characters and setting which add to the essence of the narrative, that too barely in 16 minutes run-time. But certainly, the performances by an ace set of actors is one of the high points of the film. Be it Chandan Roy Sanyal as Maat Sa who is an English teacher in government school and think he can convert any gadha (donkey) into a human. Vikrant Massey as Goru Dhobi is quite innocent and wishes if his donkey can become human. Krishanoo Beniwal aka Tehseeldaar is quite promising and his looks being compared with gadha is hilarious too. In such a minimal screen space, he leaves a powerful impact with. In first glance, one might get confused as Tehseeldaar is Randeep Hooda’s look alike too. Overall, it is a relevant film that will engage, inform and enlighten for sure.
