In India we are facing same issues. Our Supreme Court poking in each and every matter of elected government. We hindus are divided in casts because of cast based reservations. Our anti India parties using muslims vote to get elected by appeasing them and making muslims more radical.Muslims using our democratic system to improve their population and making drastic changes in Indian demoghraphy.

Support from Zagreb, Croatia. Excellent analysis from Gaudi Taub. The progressive ideology transformed Sweden into a wrack country, uncontrolled migration turned it into a most dangerous place in Europe. Progressivnes is just another word for communisam, socialisam ect, an ideology with devastating consequences for any society on our planet. I hope that Israel will succeed and will show all of us the way to victory over this global evil.

Your thinking is almost similar to mine. But given that Jordan was allotted 75 percent of Palestine for Muslim Arabs, all the muslim arabs in Gaza and Judea and Samaria and those 2 million arabs in Israel should be relocated to Jordan. The Christian population in Jordan should be relocated to Gaza, Judea and Samaria and Israel. Israel, Gaza and Judea and Samaria will become a majority Jewish state. All the muslim Arabs will make 100 percent muslims in Jordan and live in peace amongst themselves. The rest: Christians, Samaritans and other minorities will live in peace with the Jews in Israel...

I met my first Israeli leftist in 2002 - arrived in Israel fresh from a quick trip to Europe and UK, starting out in South Africa, in '96, fresh of the Liberal boat that fought for equality (the ANC made a mess the last 30 years - South Africans of all races are waking up - but that fight was a real need). And I was very confused - our Right Wing were simply racist - we were never in danger of annihilation (although some of us are now). My confusion resulted from a simple logical question: How could an Israeli, 2nd and 3rd generation, be rooting for the people trying to kill them? This first encounter was a group of no more than 20 protesters standing where Ben Tsiyon Blvd intersects with King George Avenue in Tel Aviv - that was their spot. Imagine my even deeper confusion seeing these same people now grown to 10s of thousands protesting the wartime government, defending us all btw, like it is the 60's in the US, and we invaded Vietnam... - I am finally headed home to Israel in 2 weeks, after many years away, and I am dying to run into the Left - and providing them with a dose of reality. I blame, sorry to say, the continued Americanism of many who made Aliyah in the last decade or so - Israel is NOT America, please don't import that shit. Leave it back there with your token Christmas tree. And it really winds me up that these people are using the Hostages as cover for their subversion.

Annex the whole damn thing. Why is it so hard for everyone to admit that they were wrong about the Oslo Accords and land swaps for peace? The entire Gaza strip could’ve been bulldozed in 30 days without firing a single missile. Think about that. Israel should section off an area where the safe zone is now, that is not adjacent to Egypt’s border, do not allow in 1 ounce of cement or any building material and with time the UN will have to relocate the Gazan’s elsewhere. Until the state of Israel doesn’t believe in its own right to the land, the rest of the world won’t either.

An an Israeli Jew who support his words i will be as clearer.. 1. I am a Jew originally from Juda. We used to have a kingdom here, a fact accepted by all 3 religions.... and history, archaelogy, etc. 2. We were occupied, moved by force to other countries and returned. 3. Many of those who call themselves Palestinians are Arabs from Arabia... 4. The name Palestine was made by the Romans to mock the Jews (with reference to the Philistines, the sea people, Goliath..) 5. The Palestinians have never has a state here or elsewhere 6. Arabs started many wars and we won 7. We offered land and peace and were rejected 8. We want to live in peace but will protect our home like any other human being 9. The problem is that they want Israel to completely disappear 10. The bigger problem is that it is not just the Palestinians but tones of muslims, not just Arabs, whose education invilves words like Fatwa, jihad, alkufaar, Caliphate, etc... words of peace indeed... And looking at what is happening in Europe and in the US, this is not our problems but yours.... and that of the west that believes in western values The number of muslims increase, Christians decrease... do the math and the consequences... Muslims need to be more like Emirates... Bahrain... etc... not like Afganistan, Pakistan, Yemen, Iran, Syria, Hezbolah... and the other crazy Shia ... It is all about how you interpret the Kouran...

Based on the valid Mandate for Palestine 1922 all from the Jordan - see belongs to Israel. The Gaza strip was according to Oslo to be administered by the Palestinians, as well as Judea Samaria. However already Arafat had violated without end the agreements. So Israel should simply extend Israeli sovereignty over the Gaza strip and area C. "Annex" is the wrong expression used only when you take over territory from another Souvereign.

The Reshef Plan: The Day After the Conflict in Gaza and Lebanon There has never been a state called Palestine and the Arab leadership in the territory of the former Mandate of Palestine has never been interested in a two-state solution. By stating that, I am not denying Arab Muslim descendants of the Mandate the right to a national identity -- just not a "Palestinian" one. Allow me to explain, starting with the “day after” this conflict. The proposed idea of having the UAE and Saudi Arabia involved as partners with Israel and Egypt in the development of an Emirates-like enclave in Gaza is a good one. Together, this consortium should manage a protectorate where a Gazan government can be developed that is not Islamist and independent of the PA. Apart from local policing responsibilities, Israel should maintain security control. Part of this deal would require that a strip of Gazan territory (1.5-5km wide) be annexed by Israel (including the Philadelphia corridor) for use as a security buffer. Additionally, Egypt would be required to hand over ca. 250-300km2 of land including Rafah and its surrounding area to the protectorate. Such an arrangement would leave it to the Israelis and Arabs to manage Gaza’s reconstruction and development without direct interference by outsiders, e.g., the UN. Under this plan, five emirates/governorates would be established: North Gaza, Gaza City, Deir Al-Balah, Khan Younis, and Rafah. A state called the United Gazan Emirates would be declared once the consortium unanimously agrees that Gaza is able to self-determine as a demilitarized state in peaceful coexistence with Israel. However, this plan does not fix the wider problem of what to do with the West Bank, Jerusalem, and southern Lebanon. That is why similarly fitting solutions should also be applied for those areas, and -- the game-changer -- extended to all of Israel. The current conflict can be used in much the same way as the American Civil War was used to reintegrate the states that had seceded from the Union and determine the legal status of African Americans - the Reconstructionist Era. It is time for a solution that is not misguidedly focused on “splitting-the-baby” - the two-state solution - but tackles the core issue of Israel's acceptance as a Jewish state in a Muslim region of the world. Such a solution should acknowledge that the Mandate’s territory, including the West Bank and East Jerusalem, was originally intended by the San Remo Conference (1920) and League of Nations (1923) for the establishment of a national home for the Jewish people west of the Jordan River. In doing so, the League recognized the historical connection of the Jewish people with Palestine and the grounds for “reconstituting” their national home in that country. Such a solution should also recognize that only people in the former Mandate who match the characteristics for indigeneity listed in the UN's Factsheet “Who are Indigenous Peoples?”, are the Jews. And, it should acknowledge that in 1948, Israel was the only state to declare independence in the territory, meaning that under the universally applied legal principle of international law, uti possidetis juris, it inherited the pre-existing borders of the Mandate as its internationally recognized sovereign borders. A reconstructionist solution would involve Israel reconstituting itself as a Constitutional Federal Republic (The Federal Republic of Israel), comprised of 27 governorates in Israel’s current borders including the Golan Heights and greater Jerusalem, and seven governorates in Judea and Samaria (Jenin/Tubas, Nablus, Tulkarm/Qalilya/Salfit, Ramallah/Al Bireh, Jericho, Bethlehem, and Hebron). The republic would be guided by a federal constitution granting equal political and civil rights to all its citizens. Southern Lebanon would become a protectorate of a consortium of several states including Israel, until such time as the consortium unanimously agrees that Lebanon is able to govern it as a demilitarized region in peaceful coexistence with Israel. As with Gaza, a strip of territory adjacent to the border with Israel would be annexed by Israel as a security buffer. Each of the republic’s 34 governorates would have a locally elected government with the ability to raise local taxes and manage general administrative affairs. They would also hold specific powers defined in the constitution that would determine which powers belong to the nation (federal), which are shared (concurrent), and which belong only to the governorates, e.g., local police would manage day-to-day policing while national security matters and crimes crossing governorate lines would be handled by a federal authority. The elected Governors - excluding the Governors from Gaza and southern Lebanon -- would sit in a new deliberative chamber of government. They could be joined by four representatives of the major faith communities in Israel constituting over 1% of the total population (Jewish, Muslim, Christian and Druze). While the chamber would not have legislative authority, it would have the mandate to scrutinize legislation, hold the government to account, and consider and report upon public policy. It could also seek to introduce legislation for the Knesset to consider and propose amendments to bills before their final passage into law. It would be able to delay bills though it could not indefinitely block their passage, with the possible exception of bills involving constitutional amendments, when a supermajority of 60% would be required. This would allow for the voices of all residents of the republic to be heard and considered. The Knesset would have legislative power and be much like it is today, though Israel's laws should be revised so that coalition governments cannot be as easily captured by extremist elements, e.g., the election threshold could be raised from 3.5% to 4%, and a coalition government could only be formed with 55% of Knesset members, not the current 50%. If a coalition of 55% cannot be formed, then a second round of elections would be conducted with minority parties that obtained less than 4% of first-round votes dropped from the roll. Once established, a coalition government could be dissolved with a 50% vote in the Knesset. If the Knesset votes to dissolve a government but a new coalition government cannot be formed, then, like now, an election would be held. This solution would allow Arabs to have local autonomy where they predominate and secure their property in a national register. It would not allow for Palestinian statehood. Originally proposed in 1937 by the Peel Commission, the idea of a two-state-solution was adopted by the UN in 1947, and after that, repeatedly tried by Israel with the support of the U.S., including as recently as 2000 and 2008. Every time it was rejected by the local Arab leadership, which only ever sought annihilation of the Jewish state. The opportunities for a two-state solution have been squandered, and as the current conflict lays bare, it would not resolve the real issue, which is Muslim acceptance of a Jewish state in the region. Regarding citizenship, Arabs would be offered citizenship conditional on 1) completing two (women) to three (men) years of national service (not necessarily military); and 2) renouncing foreign citizenship of states adjacent and/or hostile to Israel. Both of these conditions would also be required for Jews to hold citizenship. Those who do not accept these conditions or are beyond the age of national service, would receive full residency with full civil rights, and political rights in the governorates where they are registered. They would be able to vote in local government elections and for their representatives in the new chamber but not in national elections for the Knesset. They would be able to travel, work and live anywhere inside the republic but would not be able to change their residential governorate except by marriage, when they could change their residency to that of their spouse. They would get a special passport for international travel. Children would obtain citizenship status, but would lose it at 18 if they fail to fulfill the requirements of national service. The right of return would continue to apply for all Jewish immigrants and could be extended to include Arabs who can prove their residency in the Mandate prior to 15 May 1948, and who have not held citizenship of a country that is currently hostile to Israel within the past 10 years. Under penalty of law, organized insurgent activity (defined by law) would be grounds for imprisonment and/or to strip offenders of their citizenship/residency and expel them. Acts of terrorism (defined by law) would invoke a death penalty. A Constitutional Federal Republic of Israel should be supported by all civilized nations. Not only would it offer resolution to the Arab-Jewish conflict in the territory of the former Mandate, but it would also deal a heavy blow to the pernicious dawa of the Muslim Brotherhood that has captured Arab and Muslim political thinking around the world.

Oh no worries at all! I have a fond memory when you already try to step beyond the border in 2006 when Polish and French teenage boys ran away from their burning tanks in tears when faced with flip-flop wearing resistance in South Lebanon🤣 overweight beta-males in some suburban US town should refrain from making empty threats when their reality is limited to Costco outings and listening to colonial podcasts in search of manhood.

27:50 Zionism is the MODERN manifestation of the Messianic idea of the redemption of Israel and the return of the Jewish people to the land of Israel. This modern idea is "self determination". Ben-Gurion: "The thing that sustained the Jewish people in all of the generations, and brought the creation of the [Jewish] state, was the messianic vision of the prophets of Israel. A vision of Jewish and human redemption. The state of Israel is now, an instrument of realization, of this messianic vision". Israel Scroll of Independence: "We call to the Jewish people in all the diasporas to join together around the Yishuv in Aliya and in Building, and to stand to our right in the great campaign for the fulfillment of the generations aspiration for the redemption of Israel"

I've yet to hear a Swede. offer the view that they're about to become something other than Sweden, but let's keep the options open. Sweden is pretty integrated into the EU and now, reluctantly, NATO and is also close to Baltic neighbors. Sweden has found it's place among neighbors in the region. Israel's challenge is to do the same, yes? As long as Sweden occupied/ruled Finland and Norway this was not possible. Sweden found an accomodation. You?

As an American sitting in a farmhouse in rural Sweden, I suggest you reconsider your use os Sweden as a negative example of what Israel can become. Thoughtful Swedish opinion is that Sweden did accept a number of immigrants (more per capita than Germany) they were unprepared to re-settle -- and they are paying a political price for that with the rise of a Nazi party: Sweden Democrats. But Swedes have a demonstrated abiiity to adjust and are doing just that. It's becoming more diverse, even here in the north by the Arctic Circle and the majority, in my view, see the country stronger for it. I'd choose Sweden any day over an Israel that is rapidly becoming a pariah state -- of it's own volition.

@Spikesons The Sweden Democrats is not a Nazi party. That's a ridiculous claim. And no, Sweden is not becoming stronger due to diversity, we are being drained by people who have no wish or intention to contribute to our society. Do some research and you will find plenty of dark history about the Social Democratic party, the actual nazis. We had a great influx of migrants from Greece, Italy, central Europe and Finland in the 60s and 70s, that was a massive win for our country. Those people came to work and contribute to society. The people coming today are a completely different demographic, many have come as a result of America's wars and have an extremely entitled attitude, though they have very little interest in learning the language or getting an education. Please educate yourself before you speak such nonsense.

@@ef2718 Sweden has had its own weapons industry for centuries. There are a few reasons why we have such a prominent position in weapons manufacturing today. During WWI, our government made a decision that we needed to arm ourselves in order to avoid being dragged into future wars, plus we have always had extremely competent engineers. Unfortunately, to our great shame, we weren't as neutral as some like to believe during WWII, while not supporting the Wehrmacht with arms, we allowed their trains to pass through our country and provided millions of tons of iron ore to the German industry. However, we sold ball bearings and air defense systems to Great Britain, so we made good money from the war.

Yes in your view. Eventually Sweden will not be “Sweden” anymore. Also you missed his point. He was using Sweden as a positive model that the Israeli left is striving for while not understanding it will not work in that region. Also I’ll take being a pariah state vs going back into the ovens thank you very much.

The Arabs in Israel have more linguistic and community rights than Breton or Basque speakers in France. The French state refuses to support state-financed and supported Breton/Basque/Catalan schools within its territory - something which is allowed in my country, Wales with Welsh-medium education. France's Constitutional Court said that state supported Breton medium education is "unconstitutional". Something for Israelis to remember when French people complain of lack of rights for Arabs in Israel. Likewise, France refuses to give any linguistic status to Breton/Basque/Catalan so, unlike in Israel where you have road signs, train announcements etc in Arabic, France has decreed that this isn't possible, or, is, at best tolerated if local departements pay for some signs in their jusistiction. Breton etc are indigenous languages, they existed on the land before there was a French state or idea of French state. So, Israel supports and affords Arabs more linguistic and community status that Franch gives its own indigenous languages.
