Though I remain disinterested in sports, this has given me some valuable insights, as well as being damn hilarious.

Gaelic football: What you get if the English football rulebook and the rugby rulebook had an unholy love child together. The drunken commentary by 'effin Eddie was just the chef's kiss on the whole deal. 🤣 He deserved a permanent (and paid!) commentary job for that gig. I can think of half a dozen sports that he'd turn into absolute hilarity.

i'm not a native english speaker and i surprisingly could understand him very well. i don't think that's a good sign... edit: oh god mystery liquid passed on the side lines in a soda bottle, old men with dubious sobriety, takes me back to my childhood. what a fucking hero

As someone who's never watched any commentated sports event; if this level of commentary isn't standard, how do people get through it?
@All.Natural.Dirt.2 жыл бұрын
By appreciating the good plays and criticizing the bad ones. Arguing with the commentators from your couch is fun too. With commentary like this though I don't care who's winning!

Its literally the worst, most boring shit you will ever see. But credit where credit is due, those tools manage to find something to say for 3-6 hours straight, often much of it off the cuff. Takes skill even if its a stupid skill
