they made an experiment on pro basketball players: group a practiced physically, group b trained mentally like eyes closed doing every practice move in the head and in a couple month they noticed all groups developed more or like the same. that said: even the smallest thoughts you are allowed to have in a extreme dive really gets us in the atmosphere and you re totally right they teach and share a lot how to autonomously dive and be part of that environment instinctively. Utmost respect for the skill and passion of the diver.

Hey Dan, I notice you let your stringer float up once you hit a certain depth. What depth do you typically have to be at for that to work?
@danmacmahon39734 жыл бұрын
Phillip, it depends. If the spear punctures the swim bladder on one or more of your fish, it won't gain buoyancy as well or maybe not at all. Other factors are visibility, current, sharks, deco time remaining (if any), surface conditions, etc. If you only have one medium or large sized fish, releasing it too early can cause the air bladder to explode and allow the fish and stringer to sink back down into the depths. Generally, the best bet is to not release until you're 30 feet or less from the surface. Best, Dan
