IMP:: It is observed in many cars the Parking surveillance kit is draining battery if you don’t use car for 3-4 days straight. So in case you are such user, avoid using parking surveillance feature. You can use the hardware kit to avoid using 12v port.

I still have hope that conditions will improve. General public might not do it out of good heart but maybe due to fear of heavy penalties, if enforced by our government. The rules are already written. More than 50% of the cars these days have aftermarket high lumens lights installed that blinds the oncoming traffic. What’s stopping me to do that same? Just a little hope that things might change. I would really appreciate if Gagan bhai, being an automotive journalist, could arrange a meeting with jaipur traffic police regarding the same. I will gladly join in and bring my points.

i use the same dash cam, but 70mai also sells a cable that connects to OBD port that tells it if the car is in parking mode, and it works like a charm, no hassle at all. Using in Kushaq and Polo

I have the 4K Version & its perfect for my use! I still see many people complaining or have no idea about Dashcam (let alone dual dash cam). When i tell them to install they say, "Kya hoga faltu ka ₹5-6k waste hoga" type comments. People are fine buying cars of ₹8-9 lakhs etc.... but fret over a good & important piece like dashcam. Have seen people installing mood lights/ambient lights, which are not essential but balk out on dashcam, during traffic police/police harassment or some unfortunate incident, fancy light ain't saving your A$$! You have plenty of time to install all the flashy or stuff you like, but atleast install atleast One Dashcam, I prefer Dual-Dash Cam support. Can't say enough time, how many times it has come handy! Do yourself, your family & you car a favor & install dash cam, that 100-300 Watt PMPO Sound System can come later!

Please share your views on DASH CAMERA. If we use it with a 12v charging point then it gets off with power off but if we use it for parking surveillance then we need to do HARD WIRING where we insert the wire in a fuse box where there is no cut-in wire. will this void the WARRANTY. PLEASE RESPOND

when you peal an existing wire to connect another one.. that may cause a spark and damage.. hence warranty voids in those cases.. In Gagan's case he installed it in the Fuse box so its reversible, hence warranty remains intact

No Car Brand is giving in written that if wiring is connected in fuse box then warranty will remain intact. Update on this, when you file insurance claim...It is still grey area, whether insurance will pass or not.

How long you keep it parked? Mine also show low battery if I keep it parked for 2-3 days. But it always starts.

Yes,I kept parking for around 2-3 days but it didn't start, I think the battery is old( city 2017) ,I think I need either to reduce parking mode up to 24 hours or I will try to start the car after ensuring ac,fan should be closed.
