I am able to extract a mileage of 15.5(heavy traffic) to 17(light traffic) in the city and upto 21 on the highway while my i20 is only 1 month old (according to the MID display), using light foot technique (running is with AC on 26° all the time). Car is super smooth. The car needs some getting used to on the highway curves, it does feel a bit vague (i drive a EECO without powersteering for long hauls for reference). Also in this car you cannot be lazy with gear shifts, especially on overtakes, so rev matching is a very useful technique to learn.

Driving i20 asta diesel since a year almost completed 40k running. I became diehard fan of hyundai. Smoothness and fitting of car is awesome. After this much running my car dnt make any fitting noise. My driving is only in highway so it deliver me 20 kmpl average too.😘😘😘

💯 I have been driving elite i20 diesel asta since its first launch of 2014. I have driven over 80k kms till now, and even today, car drives like a new car. I cannot point out a single rattle which this car emits. Non Hyundai people when ride with me, still often get surprised that the car is diesel.

I have i20 Asta optional Diesel march 2018 facelift model.... I have done around 25000kms.... only once I encountered the braking issue at around only 1200kms....the road was kind of uneven had some gravel on it... in that situation when you apply brakes .......the brake calipers make a cluttering noise that can be heard in the cabin and the car won't stop. Told the company service centre.... they told me it was ABS. Since then no problems. I love this car.... if going for a diesel hatchback.. IT IS THE BEST in segment. The refinement will wow anyone... .......the premium quality standouts from the others that i have seen.
