It's a very underrated car. I guess the major reason it isn't selling is due to Renault's image in the market. They had a great selling product in Duster but they let Creta, Seltos take over that space and reap the profits. While they struggle for margins in value for money cars like Kwid, Triber, Kiger etc. and are also perceived as a "cheaper" brand than something like Kia.

Every auto reviewer says it is VFM car. Recently i drove my Triber in AMT mode with 7 ppl and full luggage in Agumbe ghat in Karnataka which is difficult ghat section with 14 HP bends and steep uphill sections. I didnot get time to make any video, however it went nicely without any issue. Within 10 L budget & for family purpose, Triber is highly recommended. Only few minor drawbacks - 1. Power in first & second gear is less,I know Triber is not selling only for this point but but i am used to it and all the more happy after climbing uphill in severe ghat sections. Someone has made a video to get that sport power mode with minor cable attachment if someone really wants it anyway it is available in youtube. 2. No cruise mode but somehow it adjusts like auto-cruise mode when in higher gears and at constant speed. 3. No ventilated seats although i dont expect in this price segment, however it is a requirement nowadays. 4. Engine is bit noisy but can manage. Just to reiterate on what Gagan told, positives are: Safety, Flexibility in seating, comfort, luggage space with 5 ppl, driving seat comfort, twin AC, price VFM, 7 seater under 4m segment fit for family and friends etc are few things unmatched by any other car with this budget.

Owner of this car since last 1 year. 45k km done. Great comfort. Almost all necessary features. Seat comfort at second row is unmatched especially the adjustable reclining facility and rear AC. When last row not in use, so many space for luggage. Driven in hills, bad roads, muddy roads of Arunachal, meghalaya, karbi anglong. Passed all tests. Yes engine is a bit noisy and sometimes feel underpowered, but its not made to race. Drive light footed or downshift gears, it delivers the Power and economy needed. Few fit and finish issues are there but manageable. It does what it was meant for. *We also did drive it in steep slopes of Dirang valley in arunachal with 6 people and in roing Arunachal with 7 people. Worked fine.

This is one of the most underrated car, but one of the best 6-7 seater car practically, I drove this car to Jim Corbett with 7 members and on AC we are able to drive smoothly 100-120 KMPH and I felt confident while doing that and also AC is powerful,

It's a practical car and family oriented car under 10-lac with 4 ⭐ GNCAP rating only drawback i found is that they atleast give 1.2 liter turbo engine like "citroen C3 aircross" and they need to update there headlights and add fog lamps at least give 6-air bag's if this feature they add in renault triber then there sell will be increased and it will be a all-rounder or a complete package car for normal people's and we have to appreciate renault they made a good 7-seater car with very affordable prices.

My friend had this car, travelled a lot in this. Everything is fine except the engine… it’s too under powered… and this is the only reason he sold it within 4yrs and ~18k Kms Btw seats are not that comfortable…

Hi Gagan, Lock unlock feature in this vehicle is not good. Because, one mad begger tried to intrude my parked Ford car infront of me in a open market area. Thankfully it was locked and he couldn't open it. If it was Triber, definitely he could have entered into my car make chaos. 😌

Prior to this I was posted atNagaon- PIN 782001 (Assam) the address of the dealer is not available in website. There was a dealer in Nagaon, i know it because one of my acquaintances purchased from Nagaon.

Triber is a cat for those with sedate driving style. Pluses are theres good space BUT the rear seat has no thigh support and is very uncomfortable for long rides, especially for people over 5'7" The car obviously also lacks power and is not fun to drive. Another thing is that whatever is replaced in other cars after 20k kms, in triber the same thing is replaced after 10k kms.
