I saw one bull in houston that busted up the cage in front of him and ran through it. The rider was strapped in and wasnt expecting it. He was still sitting up and the bull clotheslined him on the bar above the gate. Completely knocked the rider out

@@pitgroove.37_66 I’ve worked with cattle for most of my life. The guy had the bulls attention plenty. Just because the bull isn’t looking directly AT you doesn’t mean he doesn’t know you’re there. Nothing will piss off a bull more than “adding fuel to the fire” as we say. When they react that violently, that’s the bull having a sensory overload and being prey animals, the threshold is not very long for that. Longer than most critters but still... I feel just as bad as anyone else for a young rider getting hurt like that. Poor kid. I’m not criticizing anyone for anything. It’s always sad when that happens. 😢

@@yvy6269 He wasn't annoying the bull. There are lots of ways to keep the bulls attention forward. Some do it by working a rope back and forth under the bull's neck. Other bulls can actually be brought to attention by a repetitive noise. This was a young bull so maybe he didn't have a signal yet.

Tylor Crumrine's Nothing, he is snapping. Some bulls will get distracted and try and turn in the chute, which will squeeze on of the riders legs. See how the bull keeps turning his head, and bringing it back when the man snaps.

Astrophe I am not implying that it was the bulls fault. More so that it was a shitty situation and the fault of none involved. The man in front was not doing any that would annoy the bull, but instead he is trying to keep his attention focused forwards. The bull is already agitated and excited to be there, as he appears to be a younger bull, and could be lacking the experience needed to stay calm.

If they ever ban this groin rope, I assume they would just use other pain inflicters - maybe electric shocking devices. Still cheaper than responsible animal training...

Cowboy Up bulls are more powerful therefore perceived to be more dangerous, really it depends what your talking about, on the ride a horse is actually worse ESPECIALLY in the long term due to the increased speed and jump height. After the ride however a bull is more likely to kill you with a stomp than a horse. Being hung up entirely depends on the animal and how long you are hung.
