I love how the MH Team iterated on the Guiding Lands making them better and having the courage to revisit old decision based on player feedback instead of saying "they are like that, if you don't like it, don't play it!". As a solo player, the only fun I remember having in the Grinding Lands was Zinogre being invisible in his introduction cutscene. @obbububu4 жыл бұрын
Most of the people I've seen skipping the guiding lands did so because there's just so little new content, and it gated the few new hunts behind so many levels worth of grinding content you've already done. I went through the grind - but most of those people I saw who bailed after shara did so at the moment they learned they had to fight old monsters a whole bunch of times to access each step of the new content. I can see good things coming out of this if they wanted to throw MMO/open world style ideas at the wall to see what sticks, but as far as this game goes, the guiding lands still aren't good, to my mind: They're a workable system, just one that lacks content.

I played 3U and 4U a ton before my 3DS broke. Loved World for the main and Iceborne quests, but then I reached Guiding Lands... I'm more of a casual player with a lot of time on my hands, so each hunt is mentally draining. But the quest/investigation type hunts mitigates that immensely. GL is just constant hunts, which drains me quickly. And because of that, I don't have endgame stuff like augs and final weapon upgrades.

Oh, it's well worth it, in my opinion. If you want to double your playtime with a greater variety of monsters, it's a must-buy. If you want a challenge, the latest monsters also ask a lot from the player(s). Layered weapons and armor make it awesome for fashion hunting as well.

No Raging Bracy as its quest only, No Furious Rajang again event Quest only, NOT EVEN Frost Fang Barioth, My hope is they add Chameleos at some point but i also doupt it. i get that to really add a monster is to also add new weapons to augment but you could even do that by adding the monster's weapons to the game or better.. if lets say the next update is Fatalis and Silverwind add silver wind to the Guidinglands and have his material be required for some Augments on Fatalis weapons etc.

Anyone who hates the shiny drop mechanic? I am a HBG main, and for me this ruins guiding lands. In a normal quest I takes like 5 min to kill a monster, but in guiding lands its usually double the time just because I have to constantly unsheath to pickup drops, and HBG sheathing animation is very long. Not to mention how picking things up could cause a tenderized zone to disappear before u could get the next clagger. Also I can't stun lock a monster like usual because if I do too much damage shinies start to disappear. It doesn't make any sense. why did they put it in the first place?
