I didn’t know it was visible in the KJV, but I do know that Dr. Ivan Panin studied this and his findings were profound! Example: The first 17 verses of the Gospel of Matthew are a logical unit, or section, which deals with a single principal subject: the genealogy of Christ. It contains 72 Greek vocabulary words in these initial 17 verses. (The verse divisions are man’s allocations for convenience, added in the 13th century.) The number of words which are nouns is exactly 56, or 7 x 8. The Greek word “the” occurs most frequently in the passage: exactly 56 times, or 7 x 8. Also, the number of different forms in which the article “the” occurs is exactly 7. There are two main sections in the passage: verse 1-11, and 12-17. I am basically KJV only, basically meaning I use other bibles to show a point in simplicitly sometimes to bring a point in, so long as the verse or verses are not tainted. The KJV is the word of God. Since the very first day of the Lord Jesus Christ salvation, I’ve not been a fan of the NIV. I was given one as soon as I was saved. But I didn’t like it. And a few months later I was miraculously given a gift box 🎁 and inside was a King James AV. It just always felt right to me. Through the years I’ve picked up the message and living Bible along the way… but they never stuck, and I’ve chucked all them out. I’m grateful for Gail. Even the people who disagree with what she says about the different versions, how in good conscience, can someone have a copyright on God's word. The only way to get a copyright on a previously uncopyrighted book is to prove you have changed 40% of the content. Think about that. I only use the KJV, and Geneva bible for that reason alone. I am a writer, and I am not going to pay money or petition for permission from some moneygrubbing thief to use the words of my Lord and saviour. Jesus and the apostles never charged. Paul never even took a salary. It's one thing to charge for the printing of the book, but to charge for the words? Edit: not sure we should OBEY God, but rather try to be good out of our own love and compassion. Simply following a recipie for getting to Heaven seems a bit cold, IMO... @@1newearth I see you are a lot more into "blind faith" than i am. In the Bible, Jesus told his disciples to not grab the sword to protect him from the romans. If all good people followed this behavior, then we would have anarchy, and the bad people AND spirits would take over the world. Pretty sure thats not how its done in Heaven - and if it is, then id rather go to a place where TRUE LOVE is allowed - even when it manifest as anger - which is really our love trying to protect that which we care about. If you are a nihilist who dont think anything matters, then thats one way of avoiding anger. The other option is to stop caring. Both these methods can give you "inner peace", but never happiness, because no matter what good things happen, you either dont care about it, or you think it is meaningless... If we do not love/care, then we can only feel "indifferent". This means that love/caring gives us the motivation for ALL we want to do and achieve. It may therefore be realized that Love is in fact the basis for ALL Creative and Destructive/"Protective" behavior. Our "value system" is basically our "TRUTH" (our beliefs/understanding of "good" and "bad"), which tells our "love" wether to react with joy, sadness, fear, or anger, and how strongly we should react/prioritize a certain response, depending on the things we observe. "God is love", "God is Truth", "God is the Creator" - and "Humans are created in the image of God". See a pattern here? Seeing how you talk about following rules, im guessing you are NOT a fan of anarchy... I like that :)

@@1newearth Oh, and; the Bible says that "God is Truth". This is what i try to follow. It also say; "You shall not lie" - and i do not lie to myself about understanding something i dont. Thats what the "scribes" and "pharisees" do... So i follow my own beliefs, and i allow myself to reflect on stuff, and try to understand things, instead of being a "pharisee". Jesus tells us to "be like God", and im pretty sure God is not a scribe, but instead follows His own beliefs/truth. Religions can give us some pointers, but if you cling to it without understanding, you are just another pharisee - which is kinda like another word for "fundamentalist"... Did God create your brain? Judging from the stuff about "scribes and pharisees", id say its ok to use it for critical analysis of religious scriptures, written by someone we never knew, and which sometimes contradicts other parts of the Bible... Following contradictions blindly will only create "cognitive dissonance", as one part of you know you should do something, and another part tells you its wrong... Which path does your brain tell you is correct? "Love" or "scribe"? You decide :)

Im not convinced the lake of fire is a bad thing... More like a necessary "recycling plant" - because if you love, then "destroying" the bad things may sometimes be the only way to protect the good things you care about... I do not believe it is the end of life though. You can have truthful information being pieced together in a way that creates bad things (like a hammer can be used for good or bad), and if you break these pieces of information/energy/spirit up into its "basic parts", you will eventually be left with truths that can be pieced together in a better way. In Hinduism, Agni "destroys" bad energies, and Nataraja Shiva channels these energies to Brahma (the Creator) to be recreated into new things. Just like when we disagree with some idea/spirit/energy, and stop channeling the energies we dont believe in, so they loose their hold on us, and drop down towards the lava inside the Earth. This is the serpent going up and down inside the Earth, which knows ALL about the strengths and weaknesses in Jobs personality, and discusses it with God ;)

How is it bondage to rest on the seventh day sabbath? By the grace of GOD, only 8 people survived the flood and only 3 people survived Sodom. Do you truly think the Lord Jesus Christ wants to spend eternity with 10 billion disobedient unrepentant sinners, some of whom are sunday keepers and friday keepers? If we repent, Apostle High Priest JESUS will save us from our sins for that is what his name means. Acts 15 shows the four things Gentiles must do before they get saved. Does that mean a Gentile can kill, commit adultery, steal and lie? Acts 15:21 clearly says "For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day." The Greeks travelled thousands of miles to worship the true God at the feast of Passover in John 12:20. Acts 13:42 says "And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath." Why didn't Paul say the Gentiles should meet on the first day (sunday)? Acts 16:43 shows Paul meeting women for prayer on the sabbath day. Acts 18:4 shows Paul reasoning with the Greeks. We must keep the holy days, new moons and sabbath to worship the Father in spirit and in truth. We don't have to travel thousands of miles to worship God and we can worship the most high God anywhere but not anytime. There are times in the day, week, month and year that we are to have a holy convocation and gather to worship God. Speaking in tongues by the Holy Ghost means speaking other earthly languages, not babble nor gibberish. Galatians 2:4-5 talks about bondage and liberty. It is bondage to be a sinner. It is also bondage to kill animals every time we sin. Let us follow the true Christ whom apostle Paul followed so that we are not deceived. It is a blessing to keep the commandments of our Lord Jesus Christ which he gave prophet Moses and the apostles. His commandments are good and not grievous. Revelation 22:14 says, "Blessed are they that keep his commandments that they may have right to the tree of life and enter in through the gates into the city." If you want to eat from the tree of life and live in the new Jerusalem, you must keep the commandments. There is only one manner of law for the Israelite and stranger (Gentile). I have read an entire book on the validity of the I Jn. 5:7 verse. The big takeaway or me was that the passage stands complete with Vs. 7 intact. But take it out and there is an unnatural void. Similar to the last 9 verses of Mark 16.
