Hi Gail, I enjoyed this video and your cards are beautiful. A little tip I can give you is to clear emboss your stamped image before coloring. Then you won't have to worry about losing your black lines.

what if you took a piece of thicker cardstock the same size as the small grid paper. cut out a template where you want it to be, then just put your cut out blanks into the slot and it would always be in the right place??? just a thought. thank you soooo much for sharing all your lovely cards and your talent with us. :)

The punch is called leaf and the dies were from Good Morning Magnolia and To a Wild Rose. Both will be available in June

It was a mixture of shimmer paint and ink refill and painted with alcohol in the brush.

I know some stamp sets just work hand in hand with the dies, and then some stamp sets can be used just as well without the dies.. how do you feel about this set.

If it was just for the Magnolia stamp you could absolutely live without the dies because it's easy to fussy cut. If you are into making fancier cards then those extras that come with the set are a must have.

Hi Gail, I notice you are using Gina K black amalgam ink. Is that your preferred black?

At the moment it is because I can watercolor or use the blends. I have never really been a fan of Stazon. I am in the process of researching a few others to find one that really inks dark black. I'm getting a little crazy like that ... lol

The little bottles are Darice and I got them on Amazon. They come 4 to a package.
