Gainclone LM3886 Amp

Quick vid of my newly completed project. Amplifier is based on the LM3886 chip. Sounds awesome.

Why would you build something that nice and then listen to a compressed cellphone signal with highly compressed music that is midi. Get yourself a kit to make a nice tube preamp and use a CD player for better sample rates and better fidelity.

This is in no way an ideal setup. I was simply showing the newly completed amp to the world :) BTW you can get some pretty amazing sound from cell phones these days because DAC technology has come a long ways. And in 2017 I'm in no hurry to continue buying a dying format (CD's) haha. Thanks for watching!

CDs are annoying. Almost every test shows people can't hear the difference from a wave file (CD) and an MP3 file anyway. I have a tube preamp and they are a coloring device and not designed for accuracy. I love mine when it's needed though. The gainclone seems cool. I am building one now to test it out for fun.
