wonder if it fit well before the elysia alpha compressor for some pumping the Manley variable mu was too soft for hip hop do u think this could catch peaks just as fast as a ua 1176 or the retro 176 for vocals

Got this last week. Getting the Dictator dual mono and the Empress as well.

I use the dictator Dual Mono as an insert on the Fusion - in M/S mode, top gear. This one looks pretty cool, need some more info on the dual slopes before I buy

Make sure to check the Governor manual, as it very clearly explained the dual slopes.

Both great choices! The empress is among one of our favorite color EQ's in its price range and the Dual Mono dictator is perfect for shaping sound in a very natural way.
