I had the 3 week series of 2 treatments per week of Pulse Wave done to me by a different company. It's been 3 months and There is no difference at all from before the treatments and to date. I was told I was the perfect candidate for the procedures. It cost me $3,300. Needless to say, I'm very pissed.

That's unfortunate John! It is a procedure that can honestly be done technically incorrectly. Sorry to hear of your bad experience. We have had great success with it at Renew.

Craig Castanet, D.C. I've recently been diagnosed with Peyronie's. I've got a 70-80 degree upward curve. will this help or is the curve to severe?
@CraigCastanet6 жыл бұрын
I don't have any experience with Peyronnie's disease. It would seem worth a try, given the research literature. It would also seem that is likely to require more treatments, perhaps 12?

Low Intensity Shock Wave Therapy and platelet rich plasma injection have both been shown to treat Peyronie's disease. The protocol is very specific, and the PRP needs to be high dose. It may require 2 PR injections and more than 6 LISWT, but it is a safe approach and we have had success with it.

Hi there. We have had a number of clients already who are quite pleased with the effects. Also, there are clinical studies published which have documented the benefits. Of course, nothing works for everyone. You can look up the studies on the site PubMed. Use this search term within PubMed: botulinum toxin erectile dysfunction

1. Is the device using ultrasound? 2. Is the treatment permanent? 3. Does the device help reverse loss of length?
@RenewMediSpaNH6 жыл бұрын
The Storz device delivers low intensity shock wave therapy (LISWT)- this is technology similar to what is used to break up kidney stones, for example. It is not ultrasound. No treatment is permanent per se, because we cannot stop the aging process. It does stimulate tissue to regenerate, as well as improved blood flow, so through those mechanisms it would be possible to see improvements in size but we focus more on erectile function per se which is more about blood flow, not length.

Thank you for the follow-up answers. I failed to mention my questions were related to Peyronie's. I appreciate your help.
@RenewMediSpaNH6 жыл бұрын
Sure. It does treat Peyronie's. I have not heard of a plaque/scar reforming after it had been effectively treated, though I suppose that is possible...

That's amazing. Even if I needed to have it repeated once per year, it would be worth it. I don't know why this happened later in life. The Peyronie's Disease is associated with Dupuytren's Contracture, too. I had Dupuytren's appear in my right hand, over 10 years ago. The Peyronie's is only in the last year. Interestingly, I was able to reverse much of the Dupuytren's by using Proteolytic enzymes. I would take them a couple of times per day, on an empty stomach, either 30 minutes before a meal or 60 minutes after a meal. It only took about three weeks to start seeing a difference. It's an easy, relatively convenient, and relatively cheap therapy. But, it made no difference with the Peyronie's. The Storz device may be the solution.
