Sir, you and your mules are very lucky critters!!! Only had one Rocky mountain riding experience in 1995 with horses. I would love to own a mule, but at 73yo, I can't see that ever happening. I really enjoyed seeing Zack, Fancy, and yourself. I just learned from Dave Stamey that LeRoy VanDyke ("The Auctioneer" - 1956) raises, trains, and sells Arabian mules. Dave says they're like a cross between a deer and a pit-bull - each comes with its own therapist!!! 👽😲 Thanks for giving us the chance to share this with you!!!

Roger that. Dave Stamey has said twice at concerts in the Livermore Community Hall in Colorado that "an Arab-mule cross; that ain't natural." I asked him once at the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering why he believed that and he mentioned he had had a Arab-mule in a pack string and it was muy loco.

Do you think the tantrum belongs to sheep herded ? You sure do ride some beautiful country. Love the views. How high was highest peak on this ride ? Do you ride a Tennessee mule ?

Thanks, I love the mountains. My highest point was 13,000 feet. Zack is a Fox Trotter but I also ride Walkers. Both are a real smooth ride.

I have pain issues can’t get out. Last night I must have watched 5-6 of your videos. You really do a good job. How do you ever sell a mule ? Do you get attached to them like a dog ? Hope you have a few more. years to ride, please post your videos. Those mountains look so peaceful. Much love & peace

@@oldscout2514 Thanks, glad you enjoy them. And yes I get attached to them but the reason I raise and train them is so someone else can have a nice, safe mule to enjoy. So far they have all gone great homes and that make it easier.

Great video, I'm going to do this when I retire. How much weight is your mule carrying and how much does the mule weigh?

My little pack mule is 12.2 hands and weighs about 500 lbs. The pack that is on her is 120-130 lbs. She acts like it isn't even on her. Mules are strong, tough, and have a lot of stamina. Hope to see ya in the mountains sometime!

@@194448lj She looked small but didn't think she was that small. Is that 130 with or without the saddle and pad. I liked Zacks size is he 14.3 to 15 hands.

Sure enjoyed it, looking forward to this year. Gotta wait til late July early Aug for the snow to melt off the high country. Got a lot of snow pack this year I think.
