Only by drawing nearer to YOU LORD will put them on a path to a glorious one way trip winding upward to YOU where pain is not welcome because the heart will never break anymore. The deeper you've been hurt, the deeper God can love you. I was sexually abused as a child. The memories didn't start to come back until I was 16 and because I had been abused by both males and females I was scared of everybody. I was afraid to let God too close me, unable to trust him. He gently over time, at my pace came closer and eventually I could put my head on his shoulder and cry my heart out.
