My husband underwent dialysis treatment for six years and six months. He just passed away last May 1, 2022. Does Jesus care? Yes, He cares. He sustained all the expenses through the years. My eldest son was promoted in his position that his salary increase was able to sustain the expenses incurred for the treatment. Jesus cares that there were agencies who helped us to go through. He cares that when my husband for 45 years prayed that he can no longer endured the pain-related to CKD he was called by the Lord silently. He died in my arms . He cares that Jesus gave me the courage to face all the situations in these trying times. Truly Jesus cares my family. Praise God.

Three weeks ago my friends and I started a program in the streets of having a session every Friday evening as we welcome the Sabbath with our other friends who live there. It is hard to find something to say to them because we barely have anything that will show them that we can relate with their experiences. I lost my mom, that lived with my husband and I for the last 5 years of her life. 17 months later I lost my husband of 41 years to a massive heart attack here at home, in the middle of the night. Then in March...15 months after my husband...I lost the only thing I had left....my precious 13.4 year old Cocker Spaniel to a sudden stroke. I have asked this question numerous times, does Jesus care? Does he care that my heart has been shattered.....completely broken down. I've cried so much the past nearly 3 years but more than ever since March 24th at 10:20am. My furbaby was just all I had left. I'm left in this home alone and so lost without them. My husband and I never had any children so I'm really alone. No one to even visit. I've cried out to God asking why I've had to endure so much loss, so close together. On top of all that, my finances have been attacked, my health, I surely must feel like Job felt but I know I've survived it ONLY with God's help! I can't imagine going through all of this without him!!! Rest in peace mama, Jim and JJ. I know I'll see you all again....along with my dad we lost in 2006.... when it's my time for God to call me home. In the meantime I WILL lean on you! The burdens are too great to carry alone!! I have lost many close family members all by the age of 53: two stillborn brothers, my mother , father and husband. That all was devastating but I felt so loved and cared for through off of these loses. In fact, this song was sung at my mother’s funeral. I knew God loved me and would help me, and He did! Then just a few years later another loss happened, the death of a relationship. This made no sense to me. Four months before I had gone through a horrific brain surgery to remove a benign tumor. This was during the covid pandemic and I was alone in the hospital. The surgery left me with a loss of balance and total deafness in my right ear. My friend could not handle the short-lived change in my personality due to the frustration from the surgery and complications from leaking spinal fluid twice, requiring more surgery. The relationship ended, and for more than a year I felt that I was worthless and that no one cared. I believed that if I died, no one would care. I was not good enough for a friend that I would have done anything for. I isolated myself and would not call anyone, and I would go weeks where no one called just because they cared. I now realize that I was believing the lies that Satan filled my mind with. I moved on from that relationship and have begun to trust people again. I am going back to old relationships and am building new ones. But the thing is, I was never alone. Jesus cared for me all along. I have forgiven the person who left me when I needed her so much. I miss her at times but I know that Jesus cares. He has helped me to get through this. Please don’t ever believe the lie that you do not matter. I now l know that my life does matter, and I have purpose. Yes! Jesus cares!

Addition to the above: Daddy's faith NEVER waivered. Approximately 8-9 months later, he got up and told the housekeeper, "I'm going HOME today. By 4:30pm, when we took him the the hospital, he slipped into eternity. Thank You Lord for the assurance we were given that he was now in the Presence of the Lord

Oh man. This one hits so close to home. My dad went to be with Jesus in January of 2017. Our family was close and we had a great relationship. It was a loss I thought I was emotionally prepared for. But I was wrong. I wasn't myself for about 18 months. I dealt with depression and had a terrible time focusing at work. There were so many times when I asked my wife and kids if they were OK with me just getting out of the house and taking a walk. Most of these times, I would walk to a local park, sit down, and cry. Each time, Jesus was right there with me. His presence was so real. Every step of the way, He was there. Ultimately, He healed my depression and pulled me through. What a beautiful song and a great reminder that He really cares!

@Craig Yes God really cares for us. My Dad rested last year September 20th it was like I was hit by a fast moving TGV or bus. I went to Africa for funeral when i came back to Europe where i live and work i found my bosses had ganged up against me and made me quit my job for no apparent reason. It was double blow. It was something that I would not wish for my worst enemy. I had to go back to Africa to confirm that my Dad was no more. I am learning to take a day at a time remember the good times we shared laugh at the jokes we shared. Oh I had the best Dad in the world. This song gave me a confirmation that my late Dad- Gbemileke Collins Ogunnubi (who died on the 4th of September 2020) is in Heaven. I was on my knees praying for him that morning after my quiet time (as he was being transferred to another hospital in an ambulance for immediate treatment). I was praying that God should heal him and intervene. Then at a point, this song flooded my mind suddenly (just so suddenly and in an unprecedented manner). I knew God was taking him and he wanted me to be sure my Dad was resting in His arms. Then i changed my prayer point to- "Let Thy Will Be Done Oh Lord". I knew he was going to die. I was sad but confident that my Dad (though a chronic sinner in time past, who later met the Lord and was bent on serving him till his last breath) was going to Heaven. His last words were "have mercy on me Oh Lord". He was even also asking the nurse in the ambulance if he had offended her and was ready to make every of his ways right (as he had been doing two weeks before that day). He is the strongest man I've ever seen. He talked about God like he was being paid for it. He turned his back totally to all invitations and allurements to return to his old way of life. He always sang: "hold the forth for I am coming" to keep me strong. I have another reason to make Heaven and I Must make it to Heaven because it is Real.

He did horrible things to my Mom, that I witnessed. Years later, he told me he regretted his behavior deeply. He confessed to me that he loves Jesus when I was about 19. I know that even though I haven't seen him in years, he'll be with Jesus someday. He is 81 now and I am afraid to call him because I haven't spoken to him in years, do to family concerns. I don't even know if I have his correct phone number. I'm afraid that someone will answer the phone and tell me that he has passed away. Sometimes I think it's easier for me not to know.

The painful realty of this existence gives rise to the birth of music in two forms, earthly & HEAVENLY. Earthly music speaks to the experiences of this world through the singer-song writer’s eyes. Oftentimes drug use (i.e. alcohol, smokes, marijuana, cocaine, opioids, benzos and propofol to name a few) is intertwined with the survival of an artist to deal with the pressure of performing in order to stay relevant in the music industry, and to serve as fuel for creativity. As a result, music celebrities develop a tendency to sin against their body, through excessive drug use, for not measuring up to or to satisfy the demands of their music. Any earthly joy they experience is darkened by the heavy burden of performing and the loss of privacy. After mum went to be with the Lord my family locked me out of the house I shared with mum and 1 other sibling. The Lord told me to say nothing, and that he would fight my battles. My mum's friend took me in. 9yrs on, I am blessed serving the Lord
