This hymn was written by Charles Albert an African American pastor. He faced difficulties in his life which included poverty and racial discrimination, and faith is what he depended on. We’ll understand it better by and by, he believed Gods wisdom and providence will bring clarity and understanding to life’s uncertainties. This was one of my favorite hymn’s! I love this old song--but I really wonder if we will even remember by and by--when we get to Heaven--it will out shine anything we can even begin to imagine!!!!
