Quite a lengthy process. We'll worth the effort in these trying times where things are so expensive. Can we put them the oven aunty or shallow fry in very less oil.Thank u so much aunty .Try to fry on slow heat as well

Yes you can do it in the oven by giving it a brush on each side with oil and putting it into an oven tray. I am not sure how long it will take to crisp up - you will have to keep an eye and cook to your satisfaction.

I have never tried soya sauce in my fish cakes very interesting.....I usually use tuna if using tin fish would this make a difference

Yes when you can't get fresh fish, tinned fish such as the mackerel we used or tuna or even pilchards could work.

Hi We don't have a specific preferred brand for tuna. If you can, try to get a chunkier tuna, that way the texture will be still good in the fish cakes.
