Gajoldoba II Birds Paradise- West Bengal II Teesta Barrage

Is video me maine hamara Pangot Gajoldoba - West Bengal ka safar dikhaya hai. Gajoldoba or Gojaldoba is a village in the Rajganj CD block in the Rajganj subdivision of the Jalpaiguri district in the state of West Bengal, India.
In 1985 Gajoldoba Teesta Barrage built for irrigation purposes, with its reservoir has become a popular tourist attraction and bird watching centre. Baikunthapur Forest, surrounding the reservoir, carries a myth that Lord Krishna, along with his principal wife and queen Rukmani, chose the forest as their hiding place.
Gajoldoba is a place for watching birds. This place has a teesta barrage and an awesome view of sun rise and sunset.
The bird sanctuary in gajoldoba is well known fo various kinds of birds.
Gajoldoba tourist spot is a picnic spot near siliguri where you can enjoy your day.
West Bengal govt. has started a resort titled bhorer alo here for all tourists who want to make an overnight stay in gajoldoba. we stayed at swarnali homestay in Gajoldoba.
Here you can do boating and bird watching. Birds seen are as under :
Red crested pochard, common pochard, tufted duck, great crested grebe, cormorant , kingfisher , egret , Falcated Duck, golden eye , smew , red wattled lapwing and many migratory birds come to visit this place in winter. #ducks #waterbirds #waterfowl

Nice to see Siberian migrating duck, which was earlier in 90s my father hunter having all india hunting shooting license. He has hunted & I my self has clean in hot & then my family has ate many times. According to me it's flesh is one of the testest in my experience.
