This is a strap lock, a guitar accessory. It is being released by several companies such as Schaller and Dunlop.

Thanks for the video and the free pattern it is greatly appreciated. I am a novice leathercrafter and would like to make this for my son who is Jimmy Hendricks and Eric Clapton comboined. Please would you let me know what material that is used for making the mould for the pick case, it looks like cardbord !!! Thank you very much.

What was the hard white material you used to make the template for the pick holder? The stuff that you pressed the leather around to form the pick holder?

It is a compressed paper-like material called Foamex. As long as it can be processed, any mold material is fine.

먼저 패턴이랑 공유해 주셔서 감사합니다. 항상 영상보고 배우고 있어요.. 질문이 있는데요.. 기타 피크 물성형에 사용한 모양의 몰드(?) 재질이 무었인가 여쭤봅니다. 여러군데 응용이 될 듯 해서요^^ 아! 설명에 있는 라바스펀지 인가보네요.. 이게 좀 단단한 재질인가요?

안녕하세요 라바스펀지는 어깨 충격완화 폼이구요 물성형틀로 상용한 재질은 포맥스라고 하는데 문구점등에서 판매합니다 딱딱하지만 칼로는 가공이 잘되어서 공작할때 많이 쓰입니다.

hey, thanks for the pattern! Did you used memory foam or just foam? And what is the thicknes of the leather?

I used a generic form. Shouldn't memory foam be more comfortable on your shoulders? The thicker the outer material, the better, and the lining will be more comfortable to use if it has friction with the clothes.

@@user-mk4rh2tx2m 일전에 다른분이 요청해서 폭이 좁은것도 파일을 만든적이 있는데 보관하고있는지 좀 찾아봐야할것같습니다 메일 한통 보내놓으시면 찾아보고 답장 드리겠습니다. 그리고 가죽은 사실 기타스트랩은 튼튼할수록 좋습니다.악기는 소중 하니까요 어쨋든 가죽이기에 처음엔 뻣뻣해도 시간이 지나면 조금 유연해지긴한겁니다. 그이상 단단한가죽이라면 사실 그냥 낱장으로 쓰셔도 무방합니다

It's a compressed paper-like panel called Formax. Even if this is not the case, any material that is strong against pressure and easy to cut with a knife can be used.

영상 여러번 복습 하고 있습니다. 감사합니다. 친한동생이 기타를 치거든요. 선물하고싶은데 제가 기타에대해 전혀 모르네요~~스트랩을 두껍지 않은걸 사용 하더라고요. 통기타 같은거 치면서 노래 부르는.. 가죽은 어떤 걸 써야 편할까요~ 기타도 일렉 베이스 통기타 스트랩을 다 다르게 쓰는걸까요. 가죽도 그에 따라 다르게 해야하나 해서요~ 답변 올지 모르겠지만 궁금해서 올려봅니다. 너비 작게해서 참고해서 꼭 만들어볼게요! 아참! 저는 아직 초보라는…

악기스트랩은 가볍고 편한것도 중요하지만 가장 고려해야도는부분은 악기가 보호해야도기때문에 밀도가 높고 질긴가죽을 추천드립니다. 꼭 사용하고싶은가죽이 있는데 강도가약하다면 보강재를 활용하세요. 사실 통기타는 일렉기타보단 상대적으로 가볍기때문에 어떤걸쓰셔도 크게문제는 안됩니다

가죽 크기는 어떻게 사야하나요..?

평마다 길이가 정해진것은 아니라서 전보통 큰 한장에서 자르는데요 버리는부분슬 최소화하고싶다면 중간중간 이어붙이시면 버리는부분이 적겠죠
