I'm so stoked, I grew up in So-cal, down the street from Jordan. I was just learning how to play guitar in middle school, he was a senior in high school. My friend that was teaching me how to play invited me to a jam sesh. I played guitar in his garage (tried to anyway) I followed these guys from their first show to the whole prison thing. This come back is pretty crazy and I really dig this song. Metalcore is returning.

There's a certain 'sound' that everything Tim Lambesis has and it's evident in everything he does, even if the music on the various projects ultimately ends up a bit different..there's still this 'sound' that you just know he has to be involved with it somehow. Even though he isn't playing any instruments, I think his ear for what he wants and writes and his influence is AILD, so lineup changes be damned, it's still them.

You’d think with an entirely new band that they would’ve innovated their sound. The intro in literally copy and pasted from the intro to their last album blinded The chorus was bland and forgettable. The first solo was absolutely lifeless. The second one was better. The chanting behind the breakdown was the only cool or interesting part of the song. Pretty average/ below average for As I lay dying.
