Great vid. I've been to the Galapagos three times, and never seen all the big players in one trip like you seem to have. And the viz was incredible, much better than any of my trips. And the hammerheads came in nice and close, you guys were so lucky. Whenever I've been diving at Wolf or Darwin, they were always there but very skittish and usually some distance away. You really did have an exceptional trip, trust me. I've gone twice in March, and once in May. It would appear you must have went in Jan or Feb. Is that correct? Did that boat not sink at Cousins rock shortly after your trip? One of the main boats sunk, I thought it was an Aggressor boat. Could be wrong though.

Great video dude! Although it really breaks my heart to see all these fins and hands right on the coral... why??
@kurgon19769 жыл бұрын
it's not coral. It's volcanic rock. There is no coral and in a lot of spots you have to hold on because the current is so strong.
@Rangerglx4 жыл бұрын
kurgon1976 Great point we adore a turtle who will engulf a whole sponge in 1 mouthful but scorn the human who touches coral. Be respectful but that underwater environment is VERY healthy.

I recently went diving in Cozumel and heard some guys talking about diving here. I did some research, and it said you should be an experienced diver because of the strong intersecting currents. Is this true? Because I would really want to go if I ever got the chance, but currents are a pain...
@antonholland32335 жыл бұрын
Absolutely. The currents are very strong. Just returned from a week of diving on Darwin and Wolf. So worth it though!
