I prayed this prayer during a relationship with a girl. I felt anxiety throughout the relationship and kept playing this song every night. 2 weeks later the girl ended the relationship, leaving me broken and confused. I then ran to drugs, pornography, and success to fill the void. None of it worked and then quarantine hit. And when quarantine hit it helped realize that I was building my life on falling sand, so I finally gave my life to God. Fast forward to now, I can listen to this song and look back on that time when I was praying for God to put me in the fire, GOD IS SO GOOD. I'm praying the same prayer now but this time I'm living for God and wanting Him to use me to impact people for His kingdom.

Wow, what a sign from God. I am reading Galatians myself and as a Christian transgender person, I was really struggling when others would condemn me as a born again Christian and I KNOW my name is written in the lambs book of life. So I say, Galatians 3:27-29 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. To me it says, the day we gave our lives to God we are ALL one in Christ Jesus. Thee is no MALE OR FEMALE. We are a spiritual being having human/fleshly experiences and our spirit belongs to the creator. WE ARE NOT OUR OWN. I do not recommend transition to anyone as it’s not for the faint of heart and I thank God my family loves me and has accepted me and shown me true love as a Christian and I have gotten closer to God including choosing to be celibate as Jesus himself said in Matthew 19:12 For there are eunuchs who have been so from birth, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. Let the one who is able to receive this receive it.”

What do we do about evil thoughts or ruminating thoughts that destroy our peace of mind

Always remember that YOU CONTROL YOUR THOUGHTS, so when the enemy is planting something in your mind that YOU KNOW IS NOT FROM GOD, THE MOMENT you think the thought say ‘’I REBUKE THIS THOUGHT IN THE NAME OF JESUS’’ and mean what you say and prayed. Then take a moment and see when the enemy planted that thought in your mind, it’s to distract you but from what exactly? Many times when you’re closer to a blessing the enemy sends distractions to detour you from it, look up verses about wicked thoughts so you can educate yourself on them. All in all, remember that YOU CONTROL YOUR THOUGHTS and once acknowledge you’ll be convicted to know that anything that ruminates in your mind you have control of it and now you can rebuke it before it lingers! Think of your mind as a garden and your thoughts are your seed, never allow that seed to grow uproot it immediately.

In Matthew Jesus said "Evil thoughts, etc comes from the heart." Evil thoughts can also come from the devil. Usually those kind of thoughts stem from some area of disobedience in our lives, or an issue we're running from God about, or a sin we keep holding onto. Thing to do is let go of whatever it is. Ask God and Jesus for discernment so you can see how and why that thing is holding you. When we see the full truth in things, it's our way out. "So Jesus said to those who believed in Him, "If you obey My teaching, you are really My disciples; you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." (John 8:31-32) Another thing is what you're watching and hearing. Don't watch horror movies, don't listen to demonic music. Don't hang out in satanic places. Those things open the door for demons. We must cut off the things of darkness from our lives. "Don't you know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and who was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourselves but to God; He bought you for a price. So use your bodies for God's glory." (1 Corinthians 6:19-20) Always pray and ask God to help you. "The weapons we use in our fight are not the world's weapons but God's powerful weapons, which we use to destroy strongholds. We destroy false arguments; we pull down every proud obstacle that is raised against the knowledge of God; we take every thought captive and make it obey Christ." (2 Corinthians 10-4-5)

Our focus can't be "Don't think that." Our focus has to be on Christ and good instead. "Abide in Me. Apart from Me you can do nothing." (John 15:5) "Whatever is lovely, whatever is good, whatever is honorable, whatever is noble, whatever is praiseworthy, whatever is of good report, think on these things." (Phil 4:8)

Joyce, I know you have your own particular emphasis when teaching God's word. But I've never heard or read anything from you on certain societal ills such as abortion and the LGBTQ movement. As Christian's, we have to embrace the truth part of the gospel, not just the grace part. We need everybody on board these days.
