I liked GOAT more than beast,varisu,Leo. Movie is enjoyable watch for VP's good writing of both thalapathy characters & characters of sneha,prabhudeva,prashanth,jayaram were also good. My minuses with movie were average songs,after bairava goat has to be the weakest music for a vijay movie , weakly written cliched flashback with not so convincing jeevan's motivation to take revenge against gandhi, heavy vfx driven climax in chepauk with bike riding and jumping over stands instead they could have gone for more believable & logical climax like die hard.

Please don't dig too much into GOAT. It was a Vijay celebration. Just watched it the second time in South Africa and enjoyed it even more. That's why I admire the foreigners ..when they watched this movie ...I saw their enjoyment when they went in to watch the movie and when they came out. They were happy. They saw their heroes in their best performances and came out with such smiles on their faces. I am talking about the celebrations in France . It was a mixed group that went to watch GOAT. What I am saying is it was not only Indians living in France but also other race groups . Their mind set was to go in and watch and celebrate their hero. And that what they did. But these tamil critics in India find joy in their criticism. The 3 hours was good . There were no boring moments. BUT I noticed these tamil reviewers are always so quick in picking on the actors...or the directors. It's damn irritating. I think this gentleman is ready to script and direct his own movie. I saw his comments on another video . Patiently waiting to see what he is going to come up with. I am waiting 😅😅😅

The lady is completely right when she says each character was given equal importance . The way Vijay played both his roles was BRILLIANT, FANTASTIC, MIND BLOWING. The body language for each of them was so well displayed. The older Vijay moved around like an older person , like a dad, like a man who has so much on his shoulders. And the younger one played his role so well . Like a real psycho. Facial expressions...body language....fantastic. Lots of love from South Africa 🇿🇦 for Vijay❤

the problem are we viewers. there was unecessary hype for leo. it was kinda understandable because of lcu but now even goat got an unecessary overhype one week before the release. people went to that movie with expecting things like dhoni real cameo, ajith cameo. What do they expect? to cast half of india in one movie? i can put my hands down and say that if goat was released during thuppakki time people would have celebrated goat to the core and in exchange if thuppakki was released in todays time people would have found some way to dig on that movie. dont get me wrong goat is not a masterpiece but its definetly not a movie that should get so much hatred and negativity like its getting now. the social media culture where anyone can say negative things about a movie and the toxic fanfights literally ruined tamil cinema. Other industries have something that kollywood doesnt have which is unity.

Its almost very clear with that post credit scene! Ntn so "nolan"-ic to say "otala" "purila" the main villain "sanjay" is making a clone named "jeevan" (showed clearly in end on monitors inside lab) to attack gandhi.! It's Director's view and we can't tell these scenes to be fitted in some other places or these people should have been died or something like that. Also it's a commertial film, So, If you go in depth in the script you may get many mistakes in the making of the film. But i can say the GOAT is a fantastic film in terms of scripting and making too.
