Most of the time cinema makers cook story for cinema, but this feels like a light waited story which everyone can related to their collage days.... No tension sequences, no hi-fi story lines, no purposeful heroism (which most of the cinema has, which hero beat Villans and show heroism). Even in the last fighting hero is not even hitting a single person, this is very much relatable to our own life.... That made this film easily accessible to common audience hearts....

The major problem with this review is that, this is a movie that can only completely understand by mallus.... Lots of dailogs and sarcasms will not work for non mallus

Naslen,Mamitha,Sangeeth,Akhila and Shyam, I think Their off screen chemistry translated so well into the movie. That's one of the reason why we felt so connected with these characters

ya ya ya yadava song was much more than radhe krishna song i think. It is a re-creation of a Sridevi hit from 90s and it marked the quintessential 90s nostalgia for many! :) Naslen's and Amal Davis's expressions were on point. It was so good i waited for the video song to be out weeks later !!!

I watched both in theaters I laughed sooo much in premalu but I was tied to the edge of my seat in manjummel boys ... both movies have very diff genres but I feel that the young audience will like premalu more because it is more light hearted, fast paced and quirky

I disagree with the fact that Mathews' character was not necessary in the story itself, because the sole reason for car incident and other minor things is because of Mathews' character. Could the character be written off ? I mean probably YES, but when I watched the film I did not feel that Mathews' character was over the top , it felt nice imo.

A very nice feel good movie... actors are fresh which makes the movie a fresh treatment... there is no real villain and that makes the movie more comical with one of the character trying to be a villain and he was also natural in his comical villanous acting rather than being dummy villain... the best part of the movie is the looks of the hero and heroine which was also quite natural settings and also other supporting friends characters.... the only issue of the movie is in some places movie is dragging and with some edits to 2hrs this could have been much more enjoying but that does not really tale away the fun element of the movie .... a very good watch

Out of all the jobs, guy prefers to work in KFC restaurant, doesn't care about family, just want be as aimless as possible, doesn't know how to survive in his own country but goes to UK(god knows what he does there), above all at the end he says that he is relieved that he is not single anymore, did he really love her or was he just desperate enough to get "committed"? Dont know what's magical in its writing BR? Actually we need a sequel on how this relationship works in future..

He was never aimless. He had clear plan to do higher studies abroad, even before graduation. This is told in beginning of movie itself. He didn't got visa in first attempt since he didn't had funds. People do higher studies abroad not bcos they dont know how to survive in his own country. Many Imdian ceos including Googles did higher studies abroad. Please dont disrespect NRIs. Gate coaching was just a way for him to stay away from native, to avoid questions from people. How hard it is to stay jobless in society who always put thier head in others affair. Working in kfc is not a bad thing. Don't disrespect peoples job. The hero felt lonley, vulnerable, insecure and desperate for love. This is understandable being from a lower middle class family where parents don't talk to each other. Humans are social being that Craving for love and intimacy. Wanting to feel loved, valued and accepted is not a bad thing. The actress toward the end to movie found a value in Hero that is beyond his career or family staus. When will the audience learn such values?
