Manifesting a conversation between Ranbir Kapoor and Bharadwaj Rangan. He is one of the best actors in the present day Indian film Industry in my opinion, In most of his interviews,he is so passionate about his craft as an actor and very few interviewers have explored it. As an Aspiring film maker,I wish Bharadwaj Rangan can have a conversation with Ranbir Kapoor on his craft and his film choices...

Watching Imtiaz Ali talk is like free therapy sometimes. It's one of those conversations that you never wanted to end, the one that goes all night long without actually realising that so much time has went by. Once again BR pulled off another masterpiece of an interview. When they were discussing about that "spy movie" and the person beneath that made him the spy, it struck in my mind, What if Imtiaz Ali directs a biopic of BR itself, A critic who is genuinely in love with the movie who see the craft in itself and pulls of a movie that shows the person behind the critic.

Imtiaz Ali is one of the best movie maker in this age. I wish he makes more and more movies. Jab we met is my all time favorite and never gets old. Tamasha is amazing, agar tum saath ho song can make any person cry regardless of his relationship status. Finished Amar Singh chamkila and wow what a story, how amazingly it has been shown. Only hoping and praying Imtiaz ali makes more movies now. ❤❤❤

He is so well-spoken. Thank you Baddy for the wonderful questions. It is also a joy to watch people being able to express their love and affection for someone's work. And kudos to the DoP of the interview particularly for the close up of Imtiaz (4:18) , it's almost as good as a Renaissance painting, with the orange back light and the beautifully textured key, and also the wonderful production design. It feels like Imtiaz is exuding warmth which is the source of the backlight. Really beautifully done.

As a woman of nearly 40 years old, who has both loved and lived. I love how both Imtiaz and SLB represent Love, they both show different sides of the same. And if you are grown up in a society who loves to control every aspect of ones life, you do feel the both sides of love. Imtiaz's love is, when you want to hide it from your own shadow and just feel. All the work is internal. The feelings are so subtle yet loud to yourself. SLB on the other hand, especially from a woman's perspective is, when you and your love is at its loudest, wildest, angriest and most rebellious. You want to break the chains holding you down, you want the bloody world to know that you did it. You have dared to Love, despite the restrictions the world/family puts upon you. Its vast and beautiful. And I love how they both show it on screen.

When Imtiaz said he don't know much about screenwriting, I almost felt it. Because once I was checking the script of Tamasha and it wasn't structured in a way that most of the screenplay does instead it was like a story writing just, writing!

Talking to BR for celebs must be like talking to a therapist who understands what they go through in their job. May be that's why he's soooo good at extracting these answers. He isn't trying to subconsciously judge them like a paid therapist would but be genuinely interested in the craft. Be you BADDY ❤ Be You ❤

Yet going by his movies before this, BR did not conduct the interview with prejudice. Coz Imtiaz redeemed and rediscovered himself after this movie and BR gave him a chance.
