The multiplex chains in North such as PVR-INOX and Cinepolis are the main reason for audience not entering theatre's. The prices are so sky high that it makes the common man hesitant enough to enter the theatre to watch a film unless it's a very hyped film or big budget film.

Tamilnadu ticket prices are cheaper compared to AP TELENGANA. Gnanavel conveniently escapes the quantity of quality content in those states. Heroes in Telugu are much more higher in count than in Tamil. We only have a handful. I guess Surya’s last theatrical release was Etharkum Thunindhavan.
