As a Telugu speaking guy, I am so happy to say that "Yes, we're down south industry where we make films which being appreciated by people across the globe". Be it, Bahubali or KGF or RRR or films from Malayalam film industry or the Tamil Industry. Because this wasn't the case earlier. I still remember while I was a kid, they never used to say Indian Film Industry. They simply say Bollywood. And now they say , an Indian Film. It's about the content or the story telling that makes the audiences sit as long as film runs on the screen. "I am in this for the money" - What a brutally honest guy man!! You don't hear it from people in the art world, makes you respect him more. I get it, I keep saying I am passionate about what I do too. But like hell I would be doing it if there was no money in it. Liked what he said about working only with stars too. He is grounded, knows his limits. I feel he has got more credibility than he thinks he has, but its true as a product the cinema makes money because of the stars too. He needs that star power right now.
