Galax is an independent town in southwestern Virginia, with a population around 6,700. Galax is best known for its Old Fiddler's Convention, held annually since 1935.

My husband and I have very much enjoyed 17 of your videos, I have looked for more, but haven’t found yet. Every road trip is fun, they are all very interesting, informative and we so love the scenery of the back roads and small towns. There is nothing there anymore. I grew up in Carroll county and Grayson counties are called the twin cities.
