Galaxy A52 Screen and Frame Replacement Guide | Awesome improvements!

I'm a bit under the weather today, but still have to fix this Galaxy A52. With some improvements over last years, I can't complain too much, this is actually a great device! I'll show you how to repair it. Links to parts and tools below:

@@frl-4047 basically! It’s a thin piece of double sided adhesive under it. A single drop of alcohol will sort it out pretty fast

Hi there, how much would you say something like this costs? I dropped my phone and the screen went completely blue and green. Doesnt produce an image but still vibrates and functions underneath. Looks like it needs the same replacement. Any ideas on how I would get my info off the phone without the fix?

Some shops offer data recovery services where they'll use a new screen temporarily to copy data, which is usually cheaper than a full replacement screen. But this one isn't too bad, usually around $120-$150 for the replacement screen depending on the shop

Is the middle frame of samsung a52 5g and 4g same?

can the bezel on this fone be replaced? my side bezel is cracked and looks awful

Yep it sure can, it may need a new display and frame

I've had mine serviced. Replaced it with amoled from china. It can't perform as the genuine one , it feels 60hz even at 120hz. Is there a way to resync the hardware like installing a gpu driver on the phone?

Unfortunately no, it's all built into the OS. It sounds like you may have been sent one for the base A52 which tops out at 90hz, the A52 5G hits 120hz.

@@TapticDigital got it below 50$ must be the reason why . But can't complain. It's usable now compared to the original which cost 180 dollars . Just a lil bit of adjustment. Can't look for a reasonable phone to replace this unit. Only issue with these a52 is that they are not idiot proof once u drop it , it's gone. Like a softy boy. Current boy feminine Korean culture have transformed the company into softies. Gone are the tough era of samsung

No, there is no reason you would lose any data, this is just swapping parts. If any repair shop says you have to wipe your phone, go to a different repair shop who actually knows what they're doing.

Most places charge between $120-$160 from what I've seen
